HOW TO LEGALLY ERASE BAD CREDIT

      INTRODUCTION

It is the purpose of this report to teach you how to obtain a copy of your Consumer
credit report and to remove such things as judgments, late payments, liens, or anything
that is untrue or unfair from such reports, thereby improving your consumer credit rating.

      WHAT IS CREDIT?
The average American has a better understanding of General Motors than he or she does about their credit rating. Credit is used every day by millions of Americans, yet most do not have the faintest idea how our credit system really works. Most people only know that they can pull out a plastic credit card and buy something that they don't have  the cash to pay for.

The dictionary defines credit as financial trustworthiness. Time given for payment for goods SOLD ON TRUST!
Actually, the credit system we now use is as old as the business world itself. The trend of today that we see advertised everywhere is: "BUY NOW AND PAY LATER." It is this  philosophy that has caused millions of Americans to live from payday to payday, or from payment to payment!

Credit has been extended whenever goods are sold, or where services have been
rendered and immediate payment of cash has NOT been made. The principle of credit is
the same, whether the corner grocery store owner lets a patron "put it on the tab" until
payday, or an executive takes a $5,000 cash advance from his American Express(TM)
      GOLD CARD!

What do you think would happen to the grocery store customer if when payday came
around he DID NOT pay his bill as promised? Well, the grocer might give him more
time, but chances are the grocer would no longer extend credit to such a customer. He
would no longer be allowed to purchase his groceries "ON CREDIT!"

The same situation is true for the executive if he fails to pay his obligation for the $5,000
cash advance. His credit rating would be damaged, and that would make it very difficult
for him to obtain a new credit card from American Express(TM) if he did not first clear
up the debt that he owed.

With these examples in mind, if the grocer was stuck with a large unpaid bill, he would
go around the neighborhood and tell all the other merchants that Mr. X "burned" him,
and is NOT good credit risk. From that point on, none of the other merchants in town
will give Mr. X any credit!

American Express(TM) would be faced with the very same problem. How would they
inform other corporations that Mr. Executive is a poor credit risk? And how would
American Express(TM) be able to obtain information on other clients who are applying
for them for the credit for the first time?

The following pages will explain in more detail how credit is established and how you
can investigate and improve your PERSONAL CREDIT REPORT. Be sure to read each
sentence CAREFULLY as your credit is your FUTURE BUYlNG POWER. More
important, your credit is your name!

Before you go on reading this report ask yourself one good question. How much is it
worth to you to have GOOD CREDIT? The answer is simple. Good credit in our society
is virtually ''PRICELESS !" If your credit is not good, you will be severely handicapped in
almost any financial endeavor you wish to accomplish. Because of these facts, the very
small price which you paid for this financial report and credit guide is going to prove to
be one of the best investments you've ever made!

Throughout this material we will show you a simple and legal way to develop a AAA
credit reputation no matter what your past credit shows this very moment. Regardless
of your present credit rating, whether it reflects no credit, slow credit, or simply bad
credit, or EVEN if you filed bankruptcy... YOU CAN START AGAIN! You can be one of
the more fortunate individuals in the United States who holds GOOD CREDIT! You need
it! You deserve it! And NOW you can have it!

      HOW CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES WORK
As credit increased throughout the country, there arose a great need to issue reports
concerning those who are NOT a good credit risk as well as those who are CREDIT
WORTHY! Because of this great need, credit reporting agencies were formed several
years ago. These agencies, known as credit bureaus, receive information about
consumers from banks, loan companies, credit card companies, department stores, as
well as from other credit and lending sources. Credit bureaus earn their profits by giving
a computer printout showing a financial and credit profile of any individual (such as you
or I). These reports are requested by a lender or a credit issuing firm from which you
      have requested credit.

Lenders will base their acceptance or rejection of your application for credit based on
the information about you in your personal credit report. If your credit report shows that
you have been reliable in the past, then in most cases credit will be granted. What if
your report shows that you have NOT been reliable in the past? Perhaps you have been
like others in this country who have encountered circumstances beyond your control
which made it IMPOSSIBLE for you to meet your credit obligations. What if your credit
report shows that you defaulted on a particular account or were constantly LATE
making payments? This of course can be most embarrassing, and usually leads to
      CREDIT DENIAL!

There are over 2,500 credit reporting agencies in the United States. These agencies sell
information about you to BANKS, DEPARTMENT STORES, CREDIT CARD
      COMPANIES, LOAN COMPANIES, etc.

These credit bureaus keep on file information concerning you and your credit, but they
do not make any final judgments as to your credit worthiness. The decision is up to
the lender which you have dealt with to decide and report to the credit bureau.

When you receive a copy of your credit profile, you may find some of the following
information in your report. Your occupation, place of employment, income status,
residence record, marital history, court and arrest records, and most important, details
on payments of your past and present bills and loans.

You have the ABSOLUTE RIGHT to know what is in your consumer credit report!
Because it is YOUR personal credit file, you should want to know what information the
credit bureau is giving out concerning your good name and your credit!

Most people have thought, and still think, that if they have an unfavorable credit report or
history that there is NO WAY to change it, and if they want to obtain NEW CREDIT that
it's impossible! DON'T BELIEVE IT! You can change your credit report for the better.
You can change and correct any and all OUTDATED, or INCORRECT INFORMATION
that YOU choose! Remember, it's up to you! No one will do it for you! The first step in
correcting information on your report is to obtain a copy of your personal credit profile.

HOW TO OBTAIN A COPY OF YOUR PERSONAL CREDIT REPORT
You have already learned how this credit information has been gathered, rated and
placed on file for credit reporting. You can obtain a copy of this report just like a regular
consumer would - after all, it's your report.

There are many different credit reporting agencies in business today, and there is one in
every community. First, this discussion will be limited for simplification, to one of the
largest NATIONAL companies, TRW, INC. Second, the discussion will include limited
information concerning contacting the LOCAL credit reporting agency in YOUR area.

To evaluate your personal credit profile, you must obtain a copy of it. You may obtain a
copy of your personal credit report by writing to: TRW, INC., Post Office Box 271,
Parsippany, New Jersey 07054. Include the following information with your request:

      1. Full Name
      2. If married, include spouse's name
      3. Your Social Security Number
      4. Your present address/previous addresses within the past 5 years
      5. Your date of birth
      6. A check for $10 plus your SIGNATURE on the letter

You may wish to call your LOCAL credit bureau as well. Look in your local yellow
pages under Credit Reporting Agencies. Call up to find out mailing addresses and fees
      to obtain your report.

By the way, if you have been refused credit within the past 30 days and one of the
reasons for the rejection was an "unfavorable" credit report, you have certain rights
      under the law.

You first have the right to know which credit reporting agency was used to obtain the
report. You also have the right to CONTACT the agency and find out exactly what
criteria on your report has caused the rejection You also have the right to obtain this
information FREE OF CHARGE if you have been denied credit Within THE PAST 30
      DAYS!

Because with almost every important financial move that you make a credit report is
involved, it is very important that you be concerned with what your credit report says
      regarding YOU AND YOUR CREDIT!

HOW TO CORRECT ERRORS IN YOUR PERSONAL REPORT
After you have received your personal reports, determine the status of your credit file.
You should attempt to remove ALL unfavorable information using the methods outlined
      herein.

Not all of your credit history is contained in either of the two firm's files. Some
information may be duplicated, or not included in the other file. Your name and Social
Security number are used for identification. Current and previous addresses, spouse's
name, and date of birth are used for further identification. The credit information includes
the merchants names, the subscriber number, credit account number, date opened,
date closed, highest credit limit, highest amount of credit used, and repayment history.
The last item is encoded into numbers, with a series of ones indicating perfect
      repayment.

After you have received your personal reports, determine the status of your credit file.
You should attempt to remove ALL unfavorable information using the methods outlined
      herein.

The following descriptions are used to indicate payment history:

      - Current Account - account open or closed in GOOD STANDING

      - Inquiry - your credit information was requested by this firm or store

      - Closed Account - credit account closed

      - Paid Account - closed account or zero balance

      - Credit Account Reinstated - previously closed account NOW AVAILABLE FOR USE

      - Judgment - lawsuit against you... and NOT PAID

      - Charge-Off - credit amount can not be collected

      - Repossession - charged item returned to merchant

      - Foreclosure - collateral sold to collect defaulted mortgage

      - Collection Account - credit account assigned to collection agency

When you receive your report examine it VERY CAREFULLY. Make certain that all
information is current and accurate. If you find any error (for example, a loan that you
have PAID OFF is still listed as outstanding), you can take immediate action to correct
the error. You must write out EXACTLY what the mistake is, and explain the way that
the information SHOULD be listed. For example, "Loan XYZ is NOT outstanding. It was
paid in full on 10/31/8l." Send photocopies along with all pertinent information to
      substantiate your claim.

If you receive a computer printout of your credit file, there should be a space (Usually on
the right-hand side of the report) in which you may PROTEST any item in your report
that you feel is INCORRECT. After you have done this, make a photocopy, sending one
copy back to the bureau by "CERTIFIED MAIL." When the credit bureau receives your
report and the information in question, they are required to investigate and ADVISE
YOU of the results of their investigation. There is NO CHARGE for this investigation!
YOU HAVE CREDIT RIGHTS! Due to the Fair Credit Reporting Act passed in 1971!

Anytime that you are denied credit, you now have the right to know why you were
turned down! If, for instance, you are turned down for a charge account at a store, you
will receive a statement from the store stating that you were denied credit and their
reason for the denial. If their reason has anything to do with the fact that the store used
a credit reporting agency, they must provide you with the name and address of the
agency that supplied them with the report. If this should happen to you, you should
make an appointment within 30 days to visit the credit agency, so that you can review
your report and find out what information in it is causing you to be DENIED CREDIT. I
suggest that you always VISIT the credit bureau. Men should always wear a tie and
jacket, and women should dress conservatively as well. It is very important to look
professional and businesslike. It is also good to bring a friend along so that they can be
witness whatever is said. Do not let the representative of the credit bureau confuse, or
upset you in any way. If there is ANYTHING that you do not understand, ask to have it
      explained again.

If there is any information in that report that is not true, or if you want to dispute any
information on it, don't be afraid to do so. If the agency is wrong on any item on your
credit report or file, DEMAND a correction. By law, the company MUST investigate...
many bureaus will even try to make the correction "on the spot?!"

If for some reason you cannot PROVE that the item is in error or if you are having a
disagreement with a certain creditor, you have the RIGHT to tell your side of the story in
100 words or less! This will be ADDED to your report. Often, creditors who see that you
have taken the time and effort to dispute an item in your credit file will NOT include it in
credit worthiness. This can be VERY HELPFUL to you.

Many bureau representatives will even help you word your statement. Be sure to use
      this rule to your ADVANTAGE!

After making any corrections on your report, you have the RIGHT to DEMAND that the
credit bureau send corrected copies of your report to ALL CREDITORS who have
received the incorrect reports for the LAST 6 MONTHS !

PLEASE NOTE: The credit bureaus WILL NOT do this automatically! - ONLY WHEN
ASKED! - So make sure it gets done PRONTO!

If, when looking over your report, you notice that it is missing a few POSITIVE items
that you recall, you may want to invest some money to upgrade your report. Some
credit bureaus will call creditors you name as FAVORABLE to you. If the information
that you give turns out to be TRUE, the item will be ADDED to your report. There are
small fees of $2 to $5 per item, but this small fee could be well worth it to you.

HOW TO ERASE "BAD CREDIT" FROM YOUR CREDIT REPORT
Past credit experience which shows delinquent payments, lawsuits, collection and
bankruptcy is most definitely UNFAVORABLE on your credit report. Even with several
other open accounts in good standing, the unfavorable information can be a cause of
credit DENIAL when applying for new credit.

Incorrect and unverifiable information can be removed legally with the assistance of the
credit reporting agency on whose files the unfavorable information appears. To do this
you must contact the respective agency and tell them that you wish to dispute the
particular information that you feel is injurious to your credit history. Legally, they must
write for confirmation of the information to the source that is reporting it. If NO
CONFIRMATION is received by the agency within 14 days... the information in question
MUST BE DELETED from your file! - and an updated credit report will be mailed to you
      for verification!

Utilizing this method will eliminate most of the unfavorable information on your credit file,
particularly that which is more than one year old, or if the disputed amount is under
$500. Any remaining information after the first attempt can usually be removed by
subsequent attempts, at one month intervals. Remember, keep on trying over and over
again - PERSISTENCE DOES PAY OFF!

If there is any unfavorable information remaining on your credit file, you should add a
statement to your file that DISPUTES this information. Remember, the credit agencies
MUST add such a statement, PROVIDING YOU REQUEST IT! If possible, you may
resolve the problem with the creditor in question. If so, have the creditor contact the
      credit agency FOR YOU.

 Shocking Do-It-Yourselfer

In the fine state of Colorado, Charles was busy setting up a new masonry fence when he had the brilliant idea of setting up his own electric fence to protect his yard and keep the dogs in. Charles, unfortunately, was not an electrician, but he had watched some TV programs about the topic.

Charles hooked up the fence with an extension cord and some wires and that was that. Later on, he was apparently working in his new garden and managed to grab one of the exposed wires and electrocuted himself. Why? Regular household current is not suitable for electric fences. Fences are regulated with a complex series of safety features and power controls. This allows animals and people to touch the fence and just get a shock without getting electrocuted. How specifically does this work? How would I know? I'm no electrician!

If you want something done right, call someone who knows how to do it!

GENERAL COLIN POWELL, when he led the U.S. armed forces as Chairman of the Joint

intelligence and self-fulfillment. His skilled, self-assured leadership made him one of the
most respected figures in the complex worlds of both warriors and politicians.

Now active in civilian life, Colin Powell continues to live his life by 13 rules that he
collected over the years. It's been reported that he kept these written down on a small

 9). Share credit.
 10). Remain calm. Be kind.
11). Have a vision. Be demanding.
12). Don't take counsel of your fears or nay Sayers.
13). Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier.

  Happy Columbus Day

We will celebrate Columbus Day to honor
Christopher Columbus, who landed on San Salvador in 1492. People in
parts of Canada, Puerto Rico, and Central and South America will, too --
it's the only non-religious holiday to span these countries.

A federal holiday since 1971, Columbus Day had a fitful beginning. A
dinner to honor Columbus was held in New York in 1792, and Italians in
New York threw the first celebration in 1866. The first event to Really
draw attention to Columbus, though, was the World's Colombian
Exposition of 1892, also known as the Chicago World's Fair. Now, we
celebrate Columbus Day the second Monday of each October, in honor of
the October 12th discovery that eventually led to our country's founding.

What to do when a condom tears
Damage control for a very bad break

It's a horrifying moment: The condom in which
you've just entrusted your future has busted a
                     leak.

Here's the crisis plan to help avoid sexually
                     transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies.

                     1. Wash immediately.
Share the news and hit the shower. "Wash
yourself with soap and water," says James
                     Trussell, Ph.D., expert on emergency
contraception at Princeton University. No studies
have shown that soap destroys STDs, "but it
won't do any harm, and it might do some good."

                     2. Show concern.
Gently ask her to (a) inspect herself for condom
bits, (b) refrain from douching, as that can push
in microbes, and (c) use emergency contraception
                     pills.

If taken fewer than 72 hours after intercourse,
they can prevent pregnancy. She can get them
from her doctor or call Planned Parenthood at
                     1-800-230-PLAN. Visit www.teenwire.com, for
                     more information.

                     3. Talk about history.
Before you even consider having sex with a girl,
you should talk about history -- not "War of
1812" kind of history, but how many sexual
                     partners she has been with.

If she is infected, and the condom breaks, your
risk for getting a sexually transmitted disease
ranges from 50 percent for gonorrhea to 0.2
                     percent for HIV.

Should your condom break, have another chat
with her about previous sex partners and
diseases. "If you're concerned about STDs, see
your doctor and get tested within a few days,"
says Jonathan Zenilman, MD, of the Johns
                     Hopkins University STD Research Group.

If you know you were exposed to HIV, ask your
doctor about a combination anti-HIV drug
                     treatment. This measure is expensive,
controversial and unproved, but it may be your
                     only recourse.

                     4. Troubleshoot.
Did you use an expired condom or an oil-based
lubricant? Maybe you nicked the condom with a
fingernail while putting it on. Whatever the
                     cause, eliminate it.

A study published in the American Journal of
Public Health showed that men who experienced
a condom break or slip were twice as likely to do
                     so again.

 E-Mail Subject:  Chinese Bile Bears

This chain letter actually contains actual information, but
is a useless pull on the heartstrings producing no results,
except to clog of Net traffic. This e-mail contains
information about the Asian Black bear (a.k.a. "moon bear)
and the "milking" of their bile for use in traditional
natural remedies. The plight of the bear is unimaginably
cruel and barbaric. The extracted bile is medicinally
useless, and the pain and suffering of the bear is
unacceptable.

However, the point of the letter is to get you to sign a
petition and pass it on. This is where the letter loses is
credibility as a genuine source of a solution. Chain letter
petitions are useless and annoying. At best, they might
make the reader aware of the problem, but then the reader,
thinking they are affecting change, "signs" the document
and passes it on.

If you are interested in actually making changes, do not do
it via chain letters. Identify an organization that will
effectively perpetuate positive change for your personal
cause. After researching the topic and organization,
contact them directly. This will better assist the cause
for which you have feelings. Chain letters are useless
drivel best left in your delete bin.

 Chasing The Cheese!

On the majestic Cooper's hill in lovely and stately
England, hundreds of people gather every year for the
annual "Cheese Roll" event. The idea is to roll a 17-LB
cheese wheel down a hill. Contestants can then chase the
wheels in an attempt to catch them. If you manage to catch
the wheel, you can keep it. Nice, huh?

Problem! The hill is very steep, and injuries are common --
not just from people being hit by rolling cheese, but from
just falling and tumbling down a very steep slope. Several
contestants have required hospitalization for their
injuries. So, for a large denomination of money spent
recovering from severe debilitating injuries, you can have
a roll of cheese that you cannot eat because you have NO
TEETH LEFT!!!!

 Humanity At Work!

Everything happens for a Reason.....
In Brooklyn, New York, Church is a school
that caters to learning disabled children.
Some children remain in Churh for their
entire school career, while other can be
mainstreamed into conventional schools.

At a Churh fundraising dinner, the father
of a Churh child delivered a speech that would
never be forgotten by all who attended.

After extolling the school and its dedicated
staff, he cried out, "Where is the perfection
in my son, Shay? Everything God does is done
with perfection. But my child cannot understand
things as other children do. My child cannot
remember facts and figures as other children
do. Where is God's perfection?"

The audience was shocked by the question,
pained by the father's anguish and stilled by
the piercing query.

"I believe," the father answered, " that when God
brings a child like this into the world, the
perfection that he seeks is in the way people react
to this child."

He then told the following story about his son Shay:

One afternoon, Shay and his father walked past a park
where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball.
Shay asked, "Do you think they will let me play?"

Shay's father knew that his son was not at all
athletic and that most boys would not want him on
their team. But Shay's father understood that if
his son was chosen to play it would give him a
comfortable sense of belonging. Shay's father approached one of
the boys in the field and asked if Shay could play.

The boy looked around for guidance from his
teammates. Getting none, he took matters into his own hands
and said, "We are losing by six runs and the game
is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our
team and we'll try to put him up to bat in the ninth
inning."

Shay's father was ecstatic as Shay smiled broadly.
Shay was told to put on a glove and go out to play
short center field. In the bottom of the eighth
inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by
three.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team
scored again and now with two outs and the bases
loaded with the potential winning run on base
Shay was scheduled to be up. Would the team
actually let Shay bat at this juncture and give away
their chance to win the game?

Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew
that it was all but impossible because Shay didn't
even know how to hold the bat properly, let
alone hit with it. However, as Shay stepped up to
the plate, the pitcher moved up a few steps to lob
the ball in softly so Shay should at least be able to
make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and
missed. One of Shay's teammates came up to Shay
and together they held the bat and faced the pitcher
waiting for the next pitch.

The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss
the ball softly toward Shay. As the pitch came in,
Shay and his teammate swung at the ball and together
they hit a slow ground ball to the pitcher.

The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could
easily have thrown the ball to the first baseman. Shay would
have been out and that would have ended the game.
Instead, the pitcher took the ball and threw it on a
high arc to right field, far beyond reach of the
first baseman.

Everyone started yelling, "Shay, run to first. Run to
first."

Never in his life had Shay run to first. He scampered
down the baseline wide-eyed and startled. By the time
he reached first base, the right fielder had the
ball. He could have thrown the ball to the second baseman who
would tag out Shay, who was still running. But the
right fielder understood what the pitcher's intentions
were, so he threw the ball high and far over the third
baseman's head.

Everyone yelled, "Run to second, run to second." Shay
ran towards second base as the runners ahead of him
deliriously circled the bases towards home.

As Shay reached second base, the opposing short stop
ran to him, turned him in the direction of third base
and shouted, "Run to third." As Shay rounded third,
the boys from both teams ran behind him screaming,
"Shay run home." Shay ran home, stepped on home
plate and all 18 boys lifted him on their shoulders
and made him the hero, as he had just hit a "grand
slam" and won the game for his team.

"That day," said the father softly with tears now
rolling down his face, "those 18 boys reached their level of
God's perfection."

Funny how this is so true!

Funny how simple it is for people to trash different
ways of living and believing and then wonder why the world
is going to hell.

Funny how people can send a thousand 'jokes' through
E-Mail and they spread like wildfire, but when one
starts sending messages regarding life choices, people think
twice about sharing.

Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass
freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of
morality is too often suppressed in school and the
workplace.

Funny how when you go to forward this message (if you
choose to forward it), you will not send it to many
on your address list because you're not sure what they
believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to
them. Funny how we can be more worried about what other
people think of us than what we think of ourselves.

Doc Says: FUNNY ISN'T IT!
I sent this to everyone on my list...Let's share it
with our children and others shall we...

What is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome & Preventing it at Work

Carpal tunnel syndrome is an overuse injury that often occurs while
doing repetitive work. There are some things you can do to help
prevent this condition from occurring.

If you have a job where you perform the same actions repetitively, be sure to take frequent breaks
and try to rotate through different tasks as often as possible.

The use of a simple over-the-counter
wrist splint may also be helpful.

They can be found in most drug stores.
If you have any symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, see your physician for further evaluation and to discuss treatment options.
 What Are Sprains

When a joint is stretched too far
beyond the normal range of motion,
but is not fractured or dislocated,
a sprain of the ligament that
connects the bones can occur.
If this happens to you, see your doctor
to make sure that the sprain is not serious.
He or she will probably
advise you to treat the injured area
with rest, elevation, and cold compresses.
 HEART DISEASE IN AMERICA'S YOUTH
Most people think heart disease is an adult disease, the result of
many years of an improper diet. However, in a recent study reported in
"The American Heart Association Journal,"
dangerous advanced arterial plaque was found in teens
and young adults who had died in accidents,
by suicide, or had been murdered.
These results indicate that we need
as parents to make sure our children are eating healthy foods in
correct proportions and participating in
30 minutes of moderate physical activity each day.
Physical activity will help to control fatness, reduce cholesterol,
and prevent high blood pressure. Obesity is becoming a major health deterrent of children, teens, and young adults

 Asbestos in Tampons

Although some might find the topic somewhat amusing, there are millions of women who will agree that having dangerous or carcinogenic materials in tampons is no laughing matter. An email that began circulating in 1998 says that tampons use asbestos in their fibers to promote bleeding. This, the email claims, makes the women buy more tampons. It also claims the names of Stephanie Baker and Dr. Benita S. Katzenellenbogen as reliable sources for this information. Please see their Web site for how their names actually got attached to this ridiculous email. The email also claims that there are two deadly chemicals that can cause TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) in tampons and nobody wants to do anything about it. The chemicals are dioxin and rayon. Yes, rayon does exist in tampons, but at a limited level to assist in absorbency. Dioxin is a bad chemical that CAN exist in tampons, but is closely monitored.

Although the FDA may not be a reliable source to some, why anyone would take the word of a random email over the FDA is beyond comprehension. The claims made in the email are inflammatory, baseless and generally a jumble or factoids, hearsay and falsehoods. Disregard it.

Dog Fetches One Too Many Times

The story goes something like this:

A man was walking his friend's dog when he noticed a tennis ball wrapped in duct tape sitting in the grass. The man plays with the ball, wondering why it is wrapped, but then decides to use it to play fetch. The man and dog play fetch with the ball several times when suddenly it explodes. Unfortunately, the blast does not kill the dog and it suffers, despite pleas from bystanders to have the police shoot it (they are not allowed to do that, by the way). Finally and mercifully, a vet arrives and puts the dog to sleep. The owner of the dog is distraught and overcome with emotion.

Sound silly? It is ridiculous, but it's also VERY true.

On November 25, 2000, the above scenario actually took place. Now, I had my doubts, so I checked around and was able to find instructions on how to build these types of bombs. The writer usually has a small disclaimer that supposedly relinquishes responsibility.

If you ever see a tennis ball wrapped in duct tape lying on a lawn somewhere, do not touch it and call the authorities. You might end up looking silly, but better safe than sorry. Explosives created in this manner are dangerous, illegal, and completely unpredictable. If you know someone who is making these things, call the police. You might save a life!

Gregory David Pryor was apparently having some problems with his gun. The 19-year-old Jay County, Indiana man was dissatisfied with the gun's performance, and after loading a goodly amount of gunpowder into the firearm he decided the best way to resolve the issue was to look down the barrel with a lighter.

Apparently the gun worked just fine, because it shot him in the face. I have not one single idea what he thought was supposed to happen. What Really scares me is that he had a gun AT ALL!

 Pencils in Space!

This is a space race urban legend that is sometimes used to point out NASA's lunacy and space exploration's grievous waste of money. This has to do with writing instruments. According to the note, Paul Fisher was asked by NASA in the 1960s to develop a space pen. They supposedly spent millions of taxpayers' dollars to develop a pen that would work in space. The Russians, however, used a much more elegant solution -- the pencil.

This rumor is partly right and mostly wrong. It is true that Mr. Fisher developed a pen to use in space, but at no expense to NASA or the American taxpayer. Before the pen was available, both Russian and American astronauts used pencils. Pencils were ruled unsafe for several reasons -- they burn, they can break and float into delicate instruments, and they might get into a nose or an eye, just name a few.

The space pen was eventually developed and sold to NASA for about $3 each. It was also eventually used by the Russians as well.

Mama Cass Died of a Ham Sandwich!

For those old enough to remember, this rumor concerns the death of Cass Elliot, "Mama Cass" of the popular 1960s group "The Mamas and the Papas." Cass Elliot was born Ellen Naomi Cohen on September 19, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. She joined the band in 1965, and they enjoyed popularity in the late 1960s.

Cass Elliot did not choke to death on a ham sandwich because she was on heroin, as is still rumored. She died, tragically, of a heart attack in 1974 brought on by extensive obesity and crash diets that all but destroyed her heart. At her death, Cass weighed well over 200 pounds and was a tiny 5'5" tall. Her incredible voice is still missed. If you have never heard any of her songs, go buy a CD. You won't regret it!

 Rosie The Riveter
 she too lived and worked in Boston.  For those of you who do not know who she was, I will explain;
W.W.II profoundly changed the role & status of women.  As the military's need for manpower increased, so did the industry's need for woman power.  From 1940 to 1944 over 6 million women joined the workforce, filling jobs that had been exclusively male occupied.  Despite initial concerns, by W.W. II's end woman had proved to be a formidable, invaluable force in the war effort.
The "WE CAN DO IT!" poster, created in 1943, by J. Howard Miller, encouraged woman entering the workforce.  1942's "Rosie the Riveter" a popular home front song, became a nickname for women in the war workforce.  These "Rosie's" included Rose Bonavita, who drove a record 3,345 rivets into a torpedo bomber in 1943.
As men returned from W.W.II, most women left the factories.  But with the confidence, competence, and earning power they had experienced forever changed America's workplace.  Over time, Rosie has become an icon symbolizing women's strength, determination and ability to do any job.

PERSONALIZED SCORE ANALYSIS
1) About your Credit Score:
Credit scores are based on the information in your credit bureau record. The
majority of CreditXpert Credit Scores(tm) are between 400 and 900. Higher
scores are better. With a high score, you have a good chance of getting the
credit and loan(s) you want. Keep in mind that when lenders consider a loan
or credit application, they generally ask for more information because credit
scores are not the only factor they use in making decisions. Typically, this
includes personal data (such as income and monthly payments) used to
                 determine your ability to pay.
                 What your Credit Score means:
Currently, your CreditXpert Credit Score(tm) will make it difficult for you to
get the best offers, especially for credit cards. Be prepared to pay higher
fees and interest rates, as well as make deposits and down payments. Also,
you may not be able to get high credit limits and/or high loan amounts.
However, if you demonstrate that you are reliable by always paying your
bills on time, your credit score can improve significantly within a year.
                 What this Means to You:
Both negative and positive factors influence your credit score. The most
important factors of each are listed below, in order of importance. Remember
that these factors vary in how strongly they impact your credit score. For
example, if you have a very high credit score, the negative factors in your
analysis are likely to have a small impact. The same is true for positive
factors if you have a very low credit score.
What factors lower your credit score:

Payment History : You owe $19,500 on accounts for which you
                      have missed a payment.
This only includes your open accounts.
This is making your score lower. Missing payments is a negative
factor. Some cases are worse than others. For example, if you
have not missed any payments recently, lenders may think you
have become responsible and will no longer miss payments.
Also, missing payments on only a few accounts is not as harmful
as missing payments on most or all of your accounts, because
lenders realize that many people miss a payment (or pay late)
once in a while. Also, missing a single payment is not as harmful
as missing several consecutive payments because many lenders
consider missing 3 or more consecutive payments as an
indication that you may never repay them. Finally, it is not as
harmful to miss payments on accounts with low balances rather
than high ones because lenders stand to lose less money on
low balances if they remain unpaid.

Bankruptcies : You have one or more bankruptcies listed in
                      your credit report.

This is making your score lower. Any record of bankruptcy in
your credit report is a very negative factor. A bankruptcy is less
harmful to your credit score if it occurred many years ago (rather
than recently) because lenders may believe that you regained
control over your financial responsibilities. In any case,
bankruptcies will very significantly impact your ability to obtain
new credit, and new loans will likely involve a deposit or high
fees and interest rates. Note that bankruptcy records on credit
reports usually disappear 7 to 10 years after the filing date of
the bankruptcy. When this happens, it will have a positive effect
                      on your credit score.

Length of Credit History : The average age of the account(s) in
your credit report is 7 years and 5 months.

This is making your score lower. Having had credit accounts for
a long time is a positive factor because your history gives
lenders information to evaluate how you typically use credit and
repay your debts. Credit reports with approximately 30 years of
history are considered optimal. Meanwhile, up to 7 years of
credit history is considered short, and less than 3 years of
history is considered too little. It is worth noting that your
accounts may have been open longer than your report
suggests, if lenders were slow to report them to the bureaus.
What matters is how long your accounts have been in your
                      report.
What factors raise your credit score:

Credit Accounts : You have 5 account(s) listed in your credit
                      report.

This is making your score higher. Having accounts is a positive
factor because it gives lenders information to evaluate how you
pay your bills. However, having too many accounts is usually
considered a negative factor because lenders worry that you
are spending (or preparing to spend) beyond your means, even
if you have not missed payments in the past. Also, if you do not
have credit (a negative factor), obtaining your first credit cards
may be difficult, and it may involve high fees and interest rates,
as well as low credit lines. Note, finance trades (debt
consolidation accounts with high interest rates) are considered
a negative factor, because they are often associated with
                      troubled credit histories.

Payment History : Last reported month, you did not miss a
                      payment on any revolving account.
This only includes accounts updated in the past 3 months.
This is making your score higher.

Credit Usage : You are not using any revolving accounts at
more than 70% of their credit limit.
This only includes your open accounts for which the credit
                      limit/loan amount is available.
This is making your score higher. High usage (balances above
50% of the credit line) are usually considered negative, because
lenders worry that you may be using more credit than you can
reasonably afford to repay. Being "maxed out" on a credit card
(when your balance is close to or above the assigned limit) is
especially negative. The more accounts in this situation, the
more it impacts your score. Note that in some cases, such as
very high credit scores, as little as 20% usage may have a
negative impact, although minor. On the other hand, low usage
is usually considered positive because it provides lenders with
information on how you use credit, and because it shows that
you do not need to use all of the credit available to you.

                 DISCLAIMER
The CreditXpert Credit Score™ is provided to help you better understand
how lenders view your credit report. It is not an endorsement or a
determination of your qualification for a loan. Each lender has specific
underwriting standards, so you should not assume that you will receive the
same evaluation from each lender. As part of the underwriting process, they
will incorporate additional information you provide and may obtain
references. In addition, even if you are approved, the terms and conditions
of loans vary from lender to lender. The higher your credit score, the better.
With a better credit score, you are more likely to be eligible for the best
credit card and loan offers, including terms and conditions, such as interest,
                 fees, benefits, etc.

The information used to determine your CreditXpert Credit Score™ comes
from one or all of the three credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and Trans
Union). Credit reports are a compilation of credit information that is reported
to the bureaus by the various lending institutions with which you have
accounts. The information contained in your report reflects the latest
information provided. If you recently made a payment, opened a new
account, or authorized an inquiry, it may not yet be reflected in the credit
report you receive. Likewise, it will not be reflected in your CreditXpert Credit
Score™ or CreditXpert Credit Analysis™. Also, disputed items are not
incorporated in the assessment of your CreditXpert Credit Score™. Be aware
that your credit score will change each time new information is captured in
your record. In addition, the CreditXpert Credit Score™ you receive is only as
accurate as the information it is based upon. CreditXpert Inc. is not
responsible for misinformation (incorrect or missing information) provided by
lenders, which might lead to a counterintuitive or even incorrect analysis.
Carefully review all the information in your credit report to make sure it is
                 accurate and current.

The CreditXpert Credit Score™ is calculated based on many of the same
criteria considered by the leading consumer credit scoring companies,
producing in most cases a consumer credit score that duplicates or closely
approximates the typical consumer credit score utilized by banks, mortgage
lenders, and loan companies when determining creditworthiness.
CreditXpert™ is not connected in any way with Fair, Isaac and Company; the
CreditXpert Credit Score™ is not a so-called FICO score. Neither CreditXpert
