For all you smart cookies out there, yes, this computer was also known in England as the Texet TX8000 Color Computer, in France, Germany and Hong Kong, it was sold as the Laser 200.
Made by Video Technology Ltd in Hong Kong, the VZ 200 Color Computer made itself known to the Australian public through the 1993 Dick Smith Electronics catalogue as Cat. no. X-7200. Soon, a computer magazine review (Australian Personal Computer - April 1983) followed and the awareness of the VZ 200 climbed dramtically.
