New
backgrounds added June 19, 2000 in the blue, red yellow, and image backgrounds categories.
Please
read the following information added June 9, 2000. It explains terms
of use and a link to download Texview, a helper program for dealing with
textures.
The
backgrounds you find on these pages are yours for personal use. That
means you may use them for backgrounds on your computer or on your personal
web site. You may use them in the creation of your own graphics such
as stationery, etc. If you wish to use them commercially you
must contact me. You may not include them in another collection on
your own site for download. Save as many or as few of them as you
like. I require a link back to this site if you use these backgrounds
on your site. To link to these pages use this source code:
<a
href=" http://members.xoom.com/D_a_i_s_y/"> Backgrounds and More</A>
Copy
the above coding and paste it where you want it on your page.
If you
are using a WYSIWYG editor, you only need to copy the url inside the quotation
marks, and paste it in for the source file after you click on the
link icon. If you would like a button to link by, click
here.
As of this
update on June 9, 2000, I will no longer be providing preview pages for
the background tiles. I do not include tiles that are not totally
seamless on my background pages. If you want a free little program
that will allow you to view downloaded tiles tiled on a page with a single
click, download Texview here. All you do is load the folder where
you have stored your backgrounds, click on the first one to see it tiled
in the right window, and then push the down arrow to see each successive
file. This program does not install *.dll files on your computer, so you
don't need to worry about compatibility issues.

Texview

KB)
If you want, you may copy each file separately.
Just right click on the image and choose save picture as... Now name the
file and save it. Remember in what folder you saved it so you can find
it again easily. (The default is My Documents.) You can change this
easily by changing the folder in the dialog box. Or create a special backgrounds
folder by clicking on the folder with the star on it. Name the new folder
"backgrounds", open it and push the ok button.
For your convenience, I have zipped the files
on each page so you can download them all at once. The link
will be at the bottom of the page with all the files on it.
