The instructions for importing presets
can be found at the bottom of this page. Feel free to take a copy
of the snapshot tut to help you import them. Also, any preset creator may
feel free to display this snapshot on their page.
This set of presets is compatible with
versions 5, 6, and 7, is are made to work with my foil
frame tutorial. If you have not done the smart download
you will need this file also. Right click and
click Save Target As.. Save this file to your Pi folder inside the materials
folder.

This set of presets is compatible with
versions 5, 6, and 7. To see the effects you must change the mode to 3D
round or 3d custom.
This set of presets is based on the
first gel preset that comes with PI 7. It is compatible with versions 6
and 7. All settings are included.
This set of presets is made from some
playing I did with gradients and filters to make them seamless. They include
the files as background fills also in case you would like to experiment
with them for merges etc.
This set of presets also has the images
as fill files so that they may be as usuful to you as possible.

All files used are seamless, and the bevel
settings are not included.
Button Button
These presets are for the button designer,
and because of that they work differntly from other presets. If you
apply one of them to a path object, you will no longer be able to use material
presets made for the path tool. But then maybe you won't want to...
I loved the presets Stephanie provided for
us in the 5 easy pieces
tutorial, but I was never sure what kind of an effect I would achieve
by applying them. With these presets, start with a white object or
selection, and your finished product will always look like the thumbnails.

Reflections
These reflection files work just like the
ones that came with the program. All files used are seamless, and
only the reflection will be changed when you apply the preset. The first
one is the reflection I used in making the gems here.
This
collection will only affect the bevel and border/depth settings excetpt
for the egg, and the two glass presets. It includes no other files,
so it's very easy to install. Just right click on material in your
easy palette, and click on import, and browse to the folder containing
the smp. Click ok. (13 kb.)

These presets were saved withought any bevel
or border depth settings, so your object must be in one of the 3D settings
to see the full effects.

All of the reflections used in the metallics
presets were taken from Photo Impact version 5.0. You need them for best
results.
