Capitals
This program teaches the state capitals. It is not a game, but
an interactive test. Rather than taking extra school time to win a
game, the child's time is concentrated on learning the capitals.
As a homeschooler myself, I have never felt right about letting
the children play many educational games on school time, simply
because so much of the time is spent trying to defeat enemies,
that the actual time spent learning is small. If you feel the
same way, try this program. It even grades your child's work,
and keeps a record of the grades for you.

MATH LAB
While Math lab is in its beginning stages, it is still a fully
functional program. It is similar to capitals in that it takes only a little
time each day. It also records the grades of the student each time
it is used. You can choose which one of the four functions
you wish to study that day, or you may choose to review all
of them, just addition and subtraction, or just multiplication and
division. Each function has a separate grade file. Right
now the program is set to intermediate level, adding and
multiplying four and above. Later you may be able to choose
from beginning, intermediate and advanced if there is any demand for it.
