Simulations
Combat

European Air War; The thing I really like about this game is the quick start action. You are dropped into the
middle of a bombing run, where you have to protect the bombs from the Germans. The graphics are not to bad,
thou they could have been setup so you could adjust them. The View Object, which lets you look at each aircraft
from all angles is great. The movies about WW 2 are also good too. You can fly what you want, on either side, in
any mission.

F-22 Lightning 3; This is a very good jet fighter sim. What I like about it is that you have a thermo nuclear bomb in
your arsenal. You should watch this baby blow, just make sure you are no where near where it goes off at.
Because, if you are, you go up with it. When you buy this game, you will find a headset in the box for talking
to the other pilots, who are on-line too. Just make sure you have a wing man if you go on-line to play this.

Fighter Squadron, The Screamin Demons Over Europe; Graphically, this game can be set at what you computer
can handle. If you are into WW 2 fighter sims, this would be a good chose. I really like the way you can be a
gunner in any part of the B-17. The top turret is my favorite.

Jane''s Fleet Command; This could be thought of as a RTS game. But I put it in here because of all the other
combat games I have. The idea of commanding a fleet of warship did interest me, but the game was not exactly
as I wanted it to be. You have so much to watch out for, that you cannot help but to lose ships and planes.

Graphics = 7
Sound = 8
Game play =6.5

M1 Tank Platoon 2; This is a good tank sim for all you people who like to drive through everything. The game play
is the usual, shoot them before they shoot you. You can control one or all of the tanks on the field. Plus if your
tanks is knocked out, you can take over another one.

World War 2 Fighters; The first thing you notice about this game is the awesome graphics, they are top notch. This is the
best looking graphics of any of the 200+ games I own. If you only buy one flight sim, this is it. You can play as
allied or axis fighter, and then chose which aircraft you want to fight in. You can escort the bombers on a run,
you can be one of the bombers. But be fore warned, the enemy will concentrate on the bombers first and
foremost. This is as close to what it was like in WW 2.

 Driving

Colin McRae Rally: The game is modeled after the Europeans Rally races. If you like to drive on the very edge,
then you can stop looking, this game has it. Mud, snow, gravel and tarmac they all make your car act differently.
With about 15 different cars to drive, you will be playing this for a long time to come. And do not forget about the
50 some different tracks too.

Graphics = 8
Game play = 9
Sound = 9

Colin McRae Rally 2; It is still about rally racing, which I like. I like the ragged edge of driving, that this game provides.
The graphics are allot better than the pervious version too.

Graphics=9
Sound=9

Demolition Racer; Great idea for a game, but you are limited to what you drive and on what tracks too. I hate when
game makers put locks cars and tracks. I like to be able to race where and what I want. I do not like when I have
unlock cars and/or tracks. To me that ruins the game. I give them a lower game play score for the locked cars and
tracks!

Graphics = 8
Sound = 8.5
Game play = 5.5

Dirt Track Racing; I like the idea behind this game. It is a fresh idea for racing sims, driving late model cars on dirt
tracks is fun. But can be hard at times to drive. You have to be able to power slide your way through the turns.
The cars could look a little better, but the game play makes up for that short coming. But, you do not have to unlock anything.

Dirt Track Racing Sprint Cars; Same as above, but you drive sprint cars.

F-1, 2000; Another sim from EA. sports. With this sim the replays are full races, But and this is a big BUT,
The graphics were the worst I have seen in their latest offerings. Some of the pixels in the background were
almost an inch long. This is not why I paid $450 for a 3D Prophet GTS 64 Meg Ge-Force 2.

Graphics: 7
Sound: 8.5
Game Play: 8.5

Insane: This is a cool game, except for the fact that all the different cars, tracks, and maps are locked. You have
to unlock the stuff as you go along. I really like the Free roam style of game they have included. It lets you drive
anywhere on the map you want. Great, if you want to just fool around! There are several different modes of games
in this one, Checkpoint, CTF, and road racing too.

Graphics=8
Sound=7.5
Game Play=8

Midtown Madness Chicago Edition; I love this craziness of this game. It is not the same every time you play it.
You still have to unlock cars and maps though. There are several different types of races in here. Checkpoint,
Beat the Clock, and Blitz racing, just to name a few. You are to try and be the first, by any means necessary.

Graphics=8
Sound=7
Game play=8

Midtown Madness 2; The only difference is the cars and the city in which you run the races. You still have to unlock,
cars and races too!

Mobil One Rally Championship: This is the best Rally sim out there so far. The graphics are the best I have seen, in
a Rally sim so far. In time trails you can race on almost all of the tracks. But there are codes out there that will let
you race on any track with any car that is in the game. There are different engine sounds for different cars too.
They really paid allot of attention to detail with this one. The replay has about 47 different view point to watch the
race over again. Plus you can save your favorite races too. I think it would be COOL if you could make a
screen saver with the saved replays. Some of them are up to 24 minutes long too. Just keep in mind, that the
system requirements are high.

Graphics: 10
Sound: 10
Game play: 10

Moto Racer 2; As you can see by all the driving sims, that I like to do allot of racing. This game will let you race
Street or dirt bikes on allot of different tracks. And if you cannot find one you like, then you can make one to your
liking. This is one cool motorcycle racing game. If you are into bikes, then this is for you.

Graphics = 9
Sound = 8.5
Game Play=5.5

Nascar 2000; This is from EA. Sports. It is not as good in the graphics department, as Super bike 2000 is.
Plus the replay mode only allows for a few seconds of replay, not a whole race. And another thing that I do not
like about this game is what happens when you hit the walls while racing. You are almost slowed to a crawl,
even if you just brush up against it! It does have a few fantasy tracks to race on too.

Graphics: 9
Sound: 8.5
Game Play: 7

Nascar Heat; This is only the demo, that I had to play on. But from what I did see, this game ROCKS. The
Graphics are the best I have seen in a Nascar driving sim. The sound are also, very good. The engine does
not change the rev pitch allot, like N3 Racing does. You can race against the pros, or do regular races. My
favorite is the Heat play mode. This is where you are dropped into a race, and have to do specific things to
win. Like in the demo, you are in 4th place at Daytona, with 3 laps left, you have to get to the front to win one of
the medals. ( Gold, Silver, or Bronze ) I have since got the game. It is in need of a patch to fix things in it.
Update: I have since bought the game,  AND I find, It is in need of a patch for the AI. They (AI) keep crashing going
into and out of the pits There are several other things that need to be fixed too. AI will not DNF, AI runs into your back
on yellows, and so on.

Graphics= 10
Sound= 10

Nascar Legends; This one takes you back in time to race the older cars from 1970's Nascar races. It also
 has the tracks from the same era. Everything is the same as Nascar 3, in the rating I would give them.

Graphics: 8.5
Sound: 8.5
Game Play: 9

Nascar Racing 3; I love Nascar racing, and this game does not disappoint. The tracks are pretty real looking,
and are allot of fun to race on. The game play will have you playing for hours on end. There is also a web site that
designs cars from the real Nascar Race for this game. Will post a link here if they give me permission to do so.
You can paint your own car and setup it up the way you like.

Graphics: 8.5
Sound: 8.5
Game play: 9

Nascar Racing 4: What can I say, The graphics are the best I have seen in a Nascar sim. They are even better than
Nascar Heat. But, Then again this sim needs a patch, just like all of their other versions of Nascar sims Papy put out.
When they fix this sim it will rock the block! The cars in this sim, are almost real looking. Before you buy this sim,
check out the requirements, they are very high. But, if you have the rig to  run it, and love Nascar, get it. After the patch
comes out. The sounds are top notch, and the thing I really like, to the different views they give you. If you want to, you
can run a race and watch it unfold live from any of the different views.

Graphics=10
Sound=10
Game Play=7

Nascar Revolution; Do not even think about buying this! This tracks are very poorly made, and the announcers are always
 talking. There are no spotters, and the AI is not that good. There are much better Nascar Sims out there.

Graphics=7
Sound=5
Game play=5

Need for Speed, High Stakes; This is better than the Porsche Unleashed. It has allot more tracks to race on and
allot more cars too! Too bad they did not carry the game play from High Stakes, over to the Porsche game! It
would have made it a very good racing game. The graphics are pretty good, but not like Porsche Unleashed.

Graphics = 8
Game play = 8.5
Sound = 8.8

Need for Speed, Porsche Unleashed; This game in single player, will only let you race on 4 ( countem 4) tracks.
This gets very boring, very fast. I do have to hand it to them, the graphics are top notch. To bad the game play
is not the same! There are different tracks in the factory driver mode. But you have to pass one test before you
can do the next. Other games, like Colin McRae Rally, let you race on any track with any car. Are you learning
anything yet EA. Sports?

Graphics = 9
Game play = 4
Sound = 8

Official Formula 1 Racing; Just as the name suggest, it is about F-1 racing. This is not the best F-1 game, but, it is
not the worst either. You race as your favorite driver, on real world tracks. There are no cars or tracks to unlock, as is
with some games.

Graphics=7
Sound=7
Game play=6.5

Super Bike 2000: I only have the demo for this game. But if it is anything like the demo, this game is a must have
for racing sim fans. The graphics are awesome. You can see the chain on the bikes themselves. You can tell
that EA. Sports really put allot of work into the detailing of this sim. Everything about this game is what makes it a
great racing sim. I like the way, each bike has it's own engine sound to it.  Way to go EA. Sports!

I bought the game, and it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sound: 10

Test Drive Lemans; This is a blast to drive. The cars look very nice, down to the red hot disc brakes, from hard
braking. There are several ways you can play, from doing a real time 24 hour race at Lemans. Or you can make it
last as little as 12 mins. The graphics are excellent, sound is very nice, and the game play will can you coming
back for more. It sensation of speed is well represented in this game. It is almost as good as Viper Racing.

Graphics = 8.5
Game play = 9
Sound = 8

Viper Racing, This is my favorite racing sim, because it is very realistic, fun to drive and has nice 3D graphics.
You can paint your car anyway you choose, from mild to wild. The game play is really good. From the power
sliding around corners to the skid marks that are left on the road from hard braking. When you wreck, you can
watch it in the replay mode, or watch your race over. There are several view points to watch from.

Hunting

African Safari Trophy Hunter 3D: This has got to be the best hunting sim, in the graphics dept. You only have 4
animals to hunt in the sim. This is the games only short coming. All of the creatures look life like, elephants, eland,
kudu and zebras. They are the only animals you can buy a permit for to hunt. But, Did I mention there are lions
about? If they see you, they will track and attack you. So watch your back.

Graphics = 9.5
Sound = 8.5
Game Play = 7.5

American Deer Hunting 2000; I did not like this game for several reasons. The graphics, were not that good, and the hunting
maps are small. Plus the sound did nothing for me either.

Graphics=5
Sound=5
Game play=4.5

Bird Hunter Wild Wings Edition; I like this game because, there are three different types of hunts to go on. Turkey, Duck, and
Game Land Birds. All are in the first person view. The dogs are cool, the way they look for, and retrieve the dead birds. You also
can hunt ducks from land or in a boat too. It is like getting three games in one.

Graphics=8.5
Sound=8
Game play=8.5

Deer Hunt Challenge; First off, the graphics in this game are not that good. You can not see very far into the
distance. And the plant life looks like they were made out of blocks. The deer look decent, but that does not
make up for the games other short comings. Once again, the grid not that big either. There are better deer
hunting sims out there.
Graphics = 5
Sound = 7
Game Play = 7

Deer Hunter 3; This is a very good hunting sim, but needed several patches to get it to work right. Once that was
done, the sim is very much like a real deer hunting trip.
Graphics= 8.5
Sound = 8
Game Play= 8

Deer Hunter 3 Gold; All I can say is this should have been a patch to DH 3, and not an add-on program you have
 to pay for!

Field and Stream Trophy Buck: This is one of the first hunting sims I bought. The graphics are good, but I have
seen better. ( see review #3). The game grid is kind of small for hunting. Plus the deer do not look that great.
You will more than likely quit play this after a short time. There are better deer hunting sims out there.
Graphics = 6
Sound = 7
Game play = 5.5

Deer Hunter 4; This is one of the best looking and playing deer hunting sims that I have seen. But it comes at a price, you
 need a very high end system to run it at it's max. My P III 500, could not do it, without some poor frame rates. This sim looks
 great with everything on max., on my P III 1 GHz. The deer AI is very close to what it is like to hunt deer in real life too. To see
 what it would look like do your computer, download the demo. That is a good way to see how well your computer will run it.

Graphics=10
Sound=9
Game play=9

Carnivores; I like the idea behind this game. It being the first of it's kind, that I have seen. Hunting dinosaurs, is cool and
 dangerous at the same time. They will, and have, kill me on too many occasions. But, they is the thrill of this game. There
 is one thing that I do not like, I have to unlock maps and weapons in this game. If this is a hunting game, I should be able
 to use and go where I want.

Graphics=6.5
Sound=7
Game play=7.5

Carnivores 2; See, the above review. But, the graphics and sounds are better. The animals are about the same as the ones
 from the 1st game.

Graphics=7.5
Sound=8
Game play=7.5

Carnivores Ice Age; This is the third installment of this game. There are a whole new set of dangerous animals to hunt here.
 The graphics are also been improved too. What I do not like, is that I still have to unlock hunting maps and weapons!

Graphics=8
Sound=8
Game play=7.5

Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3: This sim has about the same quality graphics that are seen in Deer Hunter 3 Gold. They
are not as good as Deer Hunter 4 is. In here, you can hunt wolves, bears, moose, and mountain lions, just to name a few. If you
are not careful, some of this animals will try and kill you too.

Graphics=6
Sound=7
Game play=7.5

TNN, Outdoors Pro Hunter 2;  This game lets you either, hunt deer or shoot clay pigeons. The graphics are not that
great, the tree trucks look like tall and thin pyramids. The deer do not look that hot too. The game play has it short
comings too. You hunt without a scope until you win one. How many hunters do you know, that hunt without a
scope on a high power rifle?

Graphics = 5.5
Sound = 7.5
Game Play = 5

Fishing

Trophy Bass 3D; If you like fishing sims, this one has a ton of lakes, lures, baits, rods, and reels to keep you busy for a
long time. There are too many different kinds of fish in this game, that I can not name them all. The are different types of
weather and lake conditions too.

Graphics=8
Sound=7
Game play=7

Virtual Deep Sea Fishing; This is my favorite fishing sims for several reasons. The graphics rock, there are a
ton of different fish to get, and you can display your catches in a screen saver. You can choose your boat, your
bait, where in the world you would like to fish. It does get hard to land a 2 ton tiger shark, or any of the other BIG
fish. The fish look life like too.

Graphics = 9.5
Sound = 8.5
Game Play = 8.5
