The Rio Hondo Amateur Radio Club is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League (A.R.R.L.).

The Rio Hond Amateur Radio Club has been serving Ham radio since March 8, 1976. Founded by Tom WA6GEV and Gary WA6WFC.

The Rio Hondo Amateur Radio Club's general meetings are on the second monday on of each month at 7:30 PM. Located at 6767 Passons Blvd. Pico Rivera, Ca. Cross Street: Washington Blvd. at 7:30 PM. If you want you can look at the map to see where it is (Get a better idea). The board meetings are on the 3rd monday of the month located at different places, contact the R.H.A.R.C. for more info.

The R.H.A.R.C. nets are on the W6GNS repeater at the top of the Whittier hills. The Frequency the nets are held on is 146.175 + 600KHz. At 8:00 PM every Wednesday night and you are more than welcome to check in as a visitor.
