Dr. Paul Schmitz brings with him almost 10 years of computer & network experience; and over 40 separate AVImarkâ for Windows Installations and Hospital Staff Training Sessions already under his belt. As a former member of the Y2K and IS Team for National PetCare Centers and as owner of Veterinary Computer Consultation Services of Tulsa, he brings a dedication and personalization to the task of helping you setup your computer software, hardware and network. He will work with you to make it fit your specific needs, but he will never hesitate to recommend what he thinks is ”best” for each situation! Dr. Schmitz, a 1982 Graduate of Oklahoma State University, still practices small animal medicine, on a full time basis, in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. As the newly elected President of the Association for Veterinary Informatics (see http://avinformatics.org ), he makes his home in Broken Arrow, OK (just outside Tulsa) with his wife Janet and four young boys Adam, Brandon, Cameron and Drake.

“Dr. Paul”, as his good friends and colleagues know him, has also worked for many years with well known practice management consultant, Dr. Ross Clark (Ross is the Senior Practice Management Editor for Veterinary Economics magazine, owner of Veterinary Management Concepts and Founder & Regional Vice-President for National PetCare Centers. Paul has gleaned many great ideas for managing and helping your veterinary practice from working for and around Dr. Clark for almost 20 years.

Dr. Paul believes in offering only the highest quality training and configuration of your system. His approach is very personalized. He will work with you prior to his arrival to make sure time with him is productive. Whether you are doing a brand new install and conversion from an older system or if you need additional basic or some advanced training and support in new efforts to make your practice a “paperless” one, Dr. Paul can handle the task. He is capable of customizing the time he spends with you to fit your needs.
