AQUA NET HAIRSPRAY

Many stores have this type of hairspray.  It is the most powerful hairspray I have come across so far.  It has butane, propane, aerosol, and alcohol.  This is a great fuel for the beginners.
Not too powerful, so its *more* safe.

Easy to get the right amount each and every time.

Cheap and easy to find in many stores.
It smells AWFUL!

You have to clean the spudgun once in a while to get off the stickiness.

Often causes problems with a BBQ ignitor.

This, along with hairspray, is pretty easy to find in stores, or already in your own home.  Spudgun.com  did an analysis of all the fuels commonly used by spudgunners.  This one, probably because of it's fine mist, was listed as one of, if not top fuels (the statistics were measured with a chronograph which measured in feet per second, FPS)
This produces the highest velocity for the projectile, which in turn should shoot it farther.

Easily obtainable.

Very easy to get the right amount, each and every time.
As with hairspray, this would clog up the ignitor which would in turn need cleaning before one could shoot when it is bad enough (I usually use my fingers, but it gets them really sticky)

Will rust the ignitor if not cleaned before storage.

Smells really bad!
