8/28/2001 - I've gotten a few more pages up, and i spiffied up some others

8/25/2001 - I've fixed pages up to 'Insane Ammo.'  Be patient.

who/cares/2001 - 19 more days until school is out.

4/06/2001 - Sorry about the long update period, even though I didn't update anything really in this spudgun section.  Just be grateful that school is almost over for the summer, then I can finally get some work done without having to worry about homework or waking up at 7 in the morning.

So, Now That I'm Here;  What is a Spudgun?!

If you think about it really hard, you might get it........nope?  Okay then, I guess I'll inform you on what a spudgun is.  First off, it goes by many names, Spudgun, Potato Gun, Potato Cannon, Spudzooka, Starch Shooters, Tater Tossers, Potato Accelerators, and my own phrases for the action of spudgunning, "Act of Lobbing Up an Idahoan" and "planting a potato farm (you do not know how many gullible people there are until you say that, and then they reply by saying, 'really?!' pretty moronic huh?)."
What you do with these many named devices is to primarily SHOOT POTATOES!  Imagine that!  Of course ammo does differ where  you live, and, of course, if you just get plum tired of potatoes (if that's the problem, check my ammo page).  There are mostly two kinds of spudguns, combustion and pneumatic (and hydraulic if I find out how). They are usually made of piping material, mainly ABS and PVC pipe and fittings.  The combustion is the easiest to make but goes 200 yards compared to the pneumatic 750 yards.
The combustion is usually fueled with hairspray for beginners, and I've seen some with a propane/oxygen mix.  After this intro, you can use the navigator frame at the bottom and go to what area(s) interest you.  If you decide to make one, write me an e-mail if you're having ANY trouble with my instructions and I will help you out.  If you have any pictures of you and your spudgun, send me them and I will post 'em up in the pictures section.

I'm a proud member of the NRA.... fine I'm not, but this is dang close.
