Clean Your Own Backyard

This is a GREAT game and my classes LOVE it. The play area should be divided into two sections with a volleyball net or some other way. This serves as a "fence" and the two areas are "backyards". Divide the class into two teams, one on each side of the fence. Put an equal amount of balls on both sides of the net. It is best to put one ball per student. On go the teams should to try to get all the balls off their side of the net by throwing them over the fence. When the signal is giving (a whistle), the cleaning stops and the balls are counted. The team with fewer balls on their side wins that game.
