Born on Saturday August 13, 1938 in Oak Grove Louisiana, to Gus and Ruth Holland.
She had 10 older brothers and sisters, which means I have cousins by the dozens.
She graduated from Bastrop High School in Bastrop, Louisiana in 1956.
She married my Dad on January 31, 1959.
I was born November 11, 1959.
My Brother came along to join the family
on May 10, 1962.
My daughter was born in September 14,1988 my mother was there to see her into this world. This picture was taken about 1 year before my mother died September 15,1989. My daughter never "knew" her Nana, but she knows how much she loved her.
My mom was a good woman and she worked hard to make our house a home. This page is dedicated to her for Mothers Day even though she is no longer here on this earth to view it. May be she is looking on from above....if so I love you mom.
