Andy is finding out, like Shaun and Leif and many other teen idols, that in order to be a heart throb you have to make some sacrifices of your own in the romance department. Andy is so busy these days, he rarely has a chance to go out, much less date a young woman on a regular basis. So, just imagine for a minute that you are a lucky young lady Andy has met and asked for a date.
Don't drift too far up to “Cloud 9” because if you're too bowled over by his stardom, Andy will feel uncomfortable and wonder if you like him for himself or who he is.
Andy would probably call you up on the spur of the moment, so don't entertain any fantasies about spending the whole day getting ready! His time is limited, so be dressed and ready to go when he arrives!
Andy will most likely arrive in his new Ferrari sports car. He'll be wearing jeans, a sporty jacket and funny tee if it's a casual date. He might take you for a quick bite to eat, then drive along the ocean and thru the Hollywood hills or along the beach if you're in Florida.
For special evenings out, Andy goes all out and wears one of his super satin suits. He might even pick you up in a rented limousine, then whisk you away to a Hollywood premiere and the party afterwards.
Whenever you go on your date with Andy, be prepared for mobs of fans and flashing bulbs as photographers blast away at him.
If Andy wants to just spend a quiet evening at home with you, be understanding. He needs privacy and gets tired of being in the limelight day and night.
Andy's fave things to do on a date are: go for a drive, go to a rock concert, share a quiet dinner, go to a movie, or listen to records & chat.
“I'm a tea and television man, really,” he says, “and I like to be with my family.” Be prepared to spend lots of time at his parents' and brothers' homes unless they're out of town.
Whenever Andy takes a girl on a date, he's always attentive and a perfect gentleman and he'll try hard to see that you have a good time. When he walks you to your door and kisses you goodnight, you'll know you've just been out with someone really special.
