1. He was born on March 5, 1958.
2. His birthplace is Manchester, England.
3. When he was five months old, he moved to Australia.
4. His parents moved around a lot. For a time Andy lived in Spain.
5. When Andy was thirteen, he quit school and he doesn't regret it.
6. Andy's brothers did the same thing when they were thirteen.
7. Like his brothers, Andy quit to pursue a music career.
8. This wasn't surprising since both Andy's parents were into music.
9. Andy's mom sang in a band and toured with them.

11. Andy is very close to his family. He has two sisters, Leslie, who's married, and Berri.
12. Andy has three famous brothers, Maurice, Robin and Barry. You know them as the Bee Gees.
13. Andy says he owes his musical interest to his family, especially his brothers.

38. “There will always be fads in music. Punk rock is fun, but it's not really great music,” Andy added.
39. Andy got married to Kim when he was 18. He does feel that perhaps he was too young then.
40. Andy just got a divorce from his wife.
41. Although he does not blame his career for the break-up, he does admit that show business can be hard on a marriage.
42. When asked if he'll get married again, Andy said, “Not for awhile. I'm concentrating on my career right now.”
43. “But,” Andy added, “who knows? I could walk out of here right now and fall in love.”
44. Andy says he likes a nice, friendly girl who has a good sense of humor, and who is also understanding.

47. Robert Stigwood, Andy's manager who made the movies Saturday Night Fever and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, wants Andy to be in a movie.

94. "The countryside of Australia is magnificent," Andy says, "although the temperature gets up to 110 degrees in the summer."

97. Andy's crazy about Hollywood too. "It's where it's all happening."
98. He also enjoys spending time along to read or just think. "It gets me into a creative mood. I write some of my best songs after I've had a few hours of quiet."
99. "I'm a tea-and-television man," Andy says about himself. "I like hanging out with my brothers and my parents."
100. How does Andy feel about his success? "Well, I'm a little nervous. It's either make or break in the States. And I get a little embarrassed by all the fans. But I love it! I truly do!"
101. Where will Andy go from here? "I don't know. I know I'm young and my music could go in many directions. I expect to go through some changes yet."
