Pattern fill
You can download the pattern here and skip making the pattern
1. Open a new image 200 x 200 white background. Add a new raster layer.
2. Select the line tool single line, stroked, 3, antialias checked. Draw lines or squares to fill the space. If you get something you like and don't have the space filled in completely just use the crop tool to get rid of the extra space.
3. Delete the background layer and save the image in PSP format for another use. If you are only going to use it for this project you can hide the layer. Set this image aside for now.
This image also makes an interesting background.
