I use a lot of layers on this tutorial. You can skip adding the extra layers
if you want. I just like to be able to have control to remove things if it
doesn't look right. If you have any questions or problems, please Email

| Open a new image 500 x 300 with a white background. Add
a new layer. Using your selection tool set to rounded rectangle, feather
0, antialias checked. Draw a large rectangle. Using your selection tool
again with the same settings, hold the shift key down while making a second
rectangle at the top of the first one. |
|
| Set your forground color to white and your background color
to #808080, floodfill with a linear gradient set as shown in the image.
Go to Image, Noise, Add Noise. Set it to 3% and uniform. |
|
| Go to image, effects, inner bevel and add a bevel using
the settings shown. Deselect your image. |
 |
| Add a new layer. Using your line tool set to single line,
stroked, width 6, antialias checked, draw a line across the top of your
car. Don't worry about it going over the edges of the car. this can be
erased. I left the lines going over the edge for now. |
|
| Add a new layer. Use your selection tool set to rectangle,
feather 0, antialias checked draw a small rectange towards the top of
the car. Flood fill with #808080. |
