FROM EVIL ANGEL (LEASH)

Holy fuckin shit people!!! I still can't believe all I witnessed on Nov. 28 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. First of all, FRONT FUCKIN ROW!!! How awesome is that? Oh yeah baby! Me, Mistress, and 2 of our close friends were up against that barricade with wide eyes and cameras ready. Was very cool to walk into the ballroom to see Paul Crook, Anton Fig, and Larry finishing up their sound check. A smile and wave to us from Paul just set us in the great mood for the night ahead. As the crowd grew, so did our excitement. Before long the lights dimmed and there he was!!! Sebastian took the stage like the Tasmanian devil in a blur of motion! He came out and kicked everyone's ass with "Youth Gone Wild", "Piece Of Me", and "I Remember You". He was in GREAT voice, microphone swinging all over the place, and my FAVORITE boots right there in front of my face! Woo hoo. Unfortunately after that he had to rush over to do the Rocky Horror Show. Next to take the stage was Overkill. Talk about wo!
rking a crowd! My favorite part was when they sang, "In Union We Stand" how fitting is that?!? Then the crowd gave a big FUCK YOU!!! to Osama and the Taliban. Ok, we did that a LOT that night. Up next was Anthrax, who came out in jumpsuits spelling We're Not Changing Our Name! They were wild, but the crowd was eating it up! After a long set change(ok, they were all too damn long) Ace Frehley took the stage. Can I tell you, the word AMAZING is not close enough to describe this man's talent. Personal favorite song moments: "NY Groove", "Cold Gin", and "Shock Me." After yet another agonizing set change-which was made better when on the stereo they played "Time Warp" and Mistress and I began to sing, and others in the crowd followed. ;-) Finally, the moment had come. After 14 years, together on stage...Twisted Fuckin Sister!!!! Holy Shit!!! I can not put into words how powerful a performance it was. They played for a good hour, but it felt like about five minutes. So many songs were appropriate for the situation, and they knocked the shit out of all of them!! The grand finale was "We're Not Gonna Take It" for a second time, this time bringing out guests on stage including Sebastian who had returned after Rocky Horror. To see Baz and Dee singing together was such a thrill for me. Five days and three rolls of film later I'm still unable to get over how incredible that night was. And to the incredible hottie I passed on the street going to the line outside the Hammerstein-yum!(tall, thin, leather jacket, ripped jeans, boots, and his hair was about as long as mine, and it almost looked too good!ok, half the people looked like that, but this one-ooh baby!)
Until next time, don't forget:

FROM THE MISTRESS

HOLY SHIT!! what would you think if i told you that little old me in my wheelchair decided to sit front row at the hammerstein- a place with no seating & sold out to 4 thousand people??? haha!!! And can i just say how fukkin kewl it is to be recognized?? I dont even remember sending Paul Crook my picture! I certainly hadnt told him I was gonna be there! Oh vell. lol He saw me come in while he was still doing sound check then he threw me and leash a guitar pic each at the end of his set. Im glad Baz didnt see me cuz if he had then im sure sunday, when i go see RH again, id get an earful! Paul was basically standing right above me while Baz did his three songs. Youth Gone Wild, Piece of Me, and I Remember You. Im very happy to have seen Baz's Twirling Mic of Death up close and personal - oh and his lace up pants (not the leather, he wore em in a video~ Wasted Time i think?) from like the early eigties!! (scary, he still has em! and they fit too!) lol The crowd wasnt too too pushy for Baz and I was thinking of relocating after Baz was done but nooooooo I didnt do that. Peggy went and got me a beer and I lasted quite nicely through Anthrax and Overkill with Peggy only having a problem with one idiot. I hadnt heard much Overkill before but they were awesome!! Anthrax were wearing these outfits that when they stood next to each other it said "we're not changing our name" haha! The crowd was urging the lead singer to jump into the crowd off one of the amps while we were like god no!! dont jump! lol by this time the crowd around us had changed like four times with people pushing their way to the front and others just giving up and moving. ACE FUKKIN FREHLEY! god do i really need to say anything else?? blew me away!! by the time Twisted Sister comes on, the crowds getting pushy, people were smoking pot & drunk. I was being protected by mich leash and peggy, well by now, peggy and mich had given up and left! and also by now so did three other people who were standing around protecting me! we saw sweetnez, ette, janet, jess, jers and god knows who else at different parts of the night! I never moved! luckily these two big guys stood by me so when they got pushed into they just pushed back lol there was a mosh pit literally three feet away!! Whats worse Dee is saying shit like "we need to get rid of some angerrrrrrrrrrr" or "i wanna see someone get beat the fuck up." They played we're not gonna take it twice! once by themselves and then again at the very end with everyone on stage!! YES! BAZ CAME BACK FOR THE END!! As everyone walked off the stage baz says "osama can stick his tongue up my ass and suck out a big wet fart" or some such disgusting visual lol Needless to say my hearing has yet to fully recover. When I got home I was talking to Bam Bam, who couldnt make it - he got a hairline fracture in his wrist from water skiing and well, you kinda need your wrists to play the drums. He was so bummed out cuz he was supposed to be there! :( Dont get me wrong Anton did a great job, but I would have rather seen Bams. I think Bams is more of showman and much more fun to WATCH play the drums (atleast thats what i think from seeing videos & netcasts). Theres a hell of a lot more details but my heads still in a fog and i just woke up so there may be more added later!
