Minutes High Council Meeting Oct. 11, 1997 Dallas, TX

Meeting was called to order by John Hemmert at 1pm, at Victor's parents house in Richardson, TX. Minutes of the last meeting were waived as they appeared in the Jev.

1. Next meeting will be Jan. 10 1998, hosted by New Braunfels-Austin April Meeting will be hosted by Wolf Squadron

2. By-laws - The by-laws needed to be edited and redone. Copies to be sent to Council members and voted on at the next meeting.

3. Dept. of Medical Services - During the discussion, it was decided (yes-8 no-0 ) that the High Council's infra-structure needed some

updating and streamlining. The Tribunal will undertake this project and bring the results to the next meeting to be voted on by the Council. Since they would be changing the structure of the Council, they elected to redo the by-laws at the same time, so they would coincide.

5. ANNIVERSARY BASH

We have 19 people signed up for the dinner at Medieval Times. Awards Ceremony will be at 6pm and dinner will be at 8pm.

6. Jason Barnard was affirmed as Acting Commandant of the Academy(14-yes 0-no )

7. Director of Security let his dues lapse and was therefore dropped from the Council. He made FULL restitution and thereby retained his rank. Curtis Lutz was nominated and approved as acting Director, to be affirmed at the next meeting. Nominations will remain open until that time.

8. Treasury Report- There is $430.17 in the Imperial Treasury.

9. Rank Pins- It was decided that all rank pins and awards be uniform, at least in size and design.

10. Meeting Adjourned and we all went to visit Doc.
