High Council Meeting Jan. 31st, 1998
New Braunfels, TX.
Summer Games will be held at Camp Manison again this year on April 17-19for $56.00 per person.( Children under 12 are half price). We are committed for 40 people. Deadline for payment is April 1st.
Send to : Kay Templeton, 11934 Beverly Dr., Houston, TX , 77065. We have a separate unit for members with children this year.. They will have use of a private lodge. The rest of us will stay in the Main Barracks. Male on one side and female on the other. More bathrooms, more showers, same type of bunks. The Main Barracks is right next to the pool and we will have more open pool hours this year, Hay Ride and a Dunking Booth (weather permitting)
Council Re-organization: Shaddow explained that the Council is too big and is suffering from Communication problems so it has been streamlined.
The New Council consists of :
Tribunal- This stays the same.
Diplomatic Director has been absorbed by the Chancellor . Fleet is now a working staff under Imperial Military Commander, with Leanna Graves as Shaddow's new XO. Security and Medical are also Staff positions under Shaddow.
Academy- Has encompassed Trade and Advertising. Jason Barnard is still Acting Comm. with Mike Haze as Mentor and Roger Buck as Asst.
Communications- Finance and Colonization & Exploration are now under Communications, with a new working title of Memberships Director for Kay Templeton. ( The new title is open for discussion and any input would be appreciated)
Each Squadron Commander still has a vote on a 1-year probationary basis. Agendas are to be discussed at Squadron meetings and results brought back to the Council by the SQ. Comm.
By-Laws- The by-laws limit the term of each Council Member to 2 years (commencing in July 2000) Re-election will be staggered to assist in continuity of the club, with half being elected in 2000 and half in 2001.
The New Council was passed unan.
