Dec 17. Welcome to the new revamped who did this? page. Things change, people change, and I've changed. I was reading through this page, the one page that hasn't been updated since the place went up and MAN nothing on here is true anymore hehe. So let's clear this up!
Destroyah here, but my buds (the few I have) call me Des. So if I love Destroyah so much why didn't I just make a site about her? Simple, there's already one out there and I didn't want to copy it. Michael Hubbard of the Godzilla vs. Destroyah page has done a wonderful job of that, still I gave her a small tribute here. So since that's that I have gone to make this place dedicated to my second favorite kaiju, SpaceGodzilla. Gigan is my 3rd fave and I love the whole Gigan Species. Because of him, I'm having so much fun on the other site writing stories and making art about these great creatures. But I don't want to forget Biollante. She was my favorite and the first kaiju to ever catch my attention. She's fallen to 4th but will always be special to me. The only good one of the three yet because of her I got into this whole Godzilla/kaiju business so she gets a special page too. I love Biollante!
Well about me: I'm one semester away from graduating with a degree in Biology. Then it's off to grad school most likely to get a degree in ornithology. I love birds, they are a MAJOR component of my life and I want to make a living of them in one way or another, so why not become an expert. My favorite parrots are macaws and budgies. I have a blue and gold that I got about 2 years after Joel's death. His name is Daimon....well for now. If the booger turns out to be a male he'll keep that name, if I get the results back and he's a she (EEP!) I'll just switch it to Diamond. Still I hope he's a male. Two years, these birds are expensive and it takes a while to save up for one. I have a wonderful talking budgie too named Phage. He has surpassed Virus in his vocabulary and he is my favorite bird in my current flock of about 40 pets. Yes 40 and growing. (mind you I don't count eggs. You know the old saying.) So I'll either get a degree in ornithology or paleontology as I love both fields. Yes dinos are cool, but I have a love for the cambrian fauna. I have also recently gotten into herps, mainly snakes. I have two ball pythons. A normal named Chopin (after the composer) and an as yet un-named axanthic ball python. They are sooooo cute!!!
Next off, I'm a tried and true Metal Head. Music is another very important factor in my life and I'm a full blooded metal head through and through. I listen to real heavy metal, not that crap that's on the radio that CLAIMS to be metal. I listen to the stuff that the stations in this country are afraid to play because "it's too heavy". If you don't like metal, well then you probably won't like me so scram. My two favorite styles are black metal and power metal. Here are some of the bands I like in each genre, Black metal: Agathodaimon, King Diamond, Therion, In Flames, Covenant, Children of Bodom, and Lord Belial. In Power Metal I like: Stratovarious, Gamma Ray, Insania, Helloween, Iced Earth and Iron Savior. Heh those are just a few of the bands I like. You can find me hanging out on my metal board called
Power Metal Universe. So join me there if you want, I'm known there as Thagirion.I also love to draw. I've been drawing since I can remember. Birds were the first thing I ever drew and I branched out from there. I love to draw single characters or do comic book or comic strip style art. I have the strange talent of seeing a monster and instantly imaging what it was like as a child. Sometimes I wish it didn't happen but this has helped me to come up with both generations of kaiju kids. But hey, who said kids had to be nice? I enjoy it because I love that both have a bully or bullies as the main characters which makes for violent stories, the best kind. If I hadn't gone down the route of biology I would probably have either done a career in music or in animation as I have several ideas for cartoon series'.
Well I guess this is the part where I thank people. Don't worry it's not a long list since I did most of this alone. I want to thank Draconis, my wonderful baby who's always been there for me. Six years, my first and we're still going strong. You're as evil as I am and I love you my fellow metal head. Spaceghidorah, my best friend. Thanks for all the good times and great conversations. I love getting together with you because when we put our crazy brains together all kinds of things roll out. And the three of us put together make the DDT posse. Hehe. For those that don't know where the T came from...think about it for a while. Thanks to Michael Hubbard for giving me some cool pictures of SpaceG, and Gigan. Also for helping me figure out just how to make a web site. And to all my enemies. Yes I want to thank my enemies. Why? I come up with some of my best stuff when they try to bring me down. Hehe I have more of them than friends, but never been brought down. So this is for all of you:
