Quartz is the 7th hardest mineral, and my source of power. The chemical component is SiO2, or silicon dioxide. Therefore I am a true silicon based life form. Born of the black hole the crystals gave me the ability to channel my power while flying though space. How you may ask, I shall tell you a little about crystals.
As you see first my cell fell into the black hole. It survived the passage and mutated. When it emerged on the other side it mixed with a rare crystal and here I am. I owe my life to the black hole and the crystal. Now I can come and go as I please. Click on the image to view at full size.
Quartz is what is called pieso-electric. When subjected to pressure it accumulates an electrical charge. It also radiates energy out in eight directions. This energy pattern on earth aligns itself with magnetic north. Therefore it is a source of electromagnetic energy. Heh heh, I was happy to take advantage of this by flying over cities and disrupting computers and communication devices. All of which use quartz.
Here now is a crazy picture of how I powered up while on earth. 
I found a tower I really liked. It was aligned to the earth's magnetic field. It collected energy sent it into the ground; the pressure built up in my crystals that surrounded it. I then took this energy into my shoulder crystals to recharge.
Not only that, but crystals are beautiful. I would not be so handsome with out them.
