Sorath wields the power of the "other" fire. His powers are cosmic and those of the sun. Sorath is also known as the Black Sun. Ancient people believed all the spheres had a number and that that number was cubed. The number of the sun is 6, hence 666.

Sorath is Thagirion's principal servant. He proclaimed the beasts coming in the earth war and is still loyal to him. Sorath has an unusual arsenal of planets that swirl about his tail. He uses them to trap into cosmic powers, and to entrap souls in them as well. Like Thagirion he can call forth fire at will.
