Gao Black, Iron Bison. His name is Soutarou Ushigome, though the only person to use it was Shi-chan, the love of his life, he is called only "Black." He is 22 years old, a gentle soul and he worked at a flower shop. His weapon is the Bison Axe. Before Red, he was the newest member of the group, and still getting dragged around by the excitable Blue. He is terribly afraid of heights, but Blue taught him to overcome his fears and their motto is "Never Give Up!!"
Black has been involved with two women, though one doesn't exactly count as he just liked her. Shimada appeared in Episode 6. And Shi-chan, the woman with whom Black worked before he became a Gaoranger, and the love of his life, appeared in 19.
He is companion to the Gao Bison, Majiro and Rhinos.
