This way to the Gekiranger hub-page:

Juuken Sentai Gekiranger
Ran calls his name as Jan splashes in the water without coordinations. She and Retsu make their way down from the path to the rubble-beach. "Jan, you okay?" Ran asks. Jan proves to be ecstatic, for he straighted up, the water being only thigh-deep, and shouts "This feels great!" Retsu has had enough and comes down close to scold Jan for fooling around too much. In mid-scold he shies as Jan's come out of the water and is shaking his head to drip-dry. "Tadoritsukainaizo!" Jan replies confidently, "It's all right!" and scratches his head. Retsu pushes at him, "It's NOT all right!" Jan gets stubborn, "I said it IS all right!" As Retsu starts to say not again, Ran parts them in exasperation. "Would you two wait a minute?!" She aims her scolding first at Retsu, then to Jan, reminding them of the Rinjuuden. That puts Jan into focus. "That's right! That hard, hard round, round!"
Coming down a dark through-way, a ball of spiked golden stone. They in their armor had fled ahead in fright as the spikes tore up the cement, but they weren't fast enough. Each was hit by the ball and knocked tumbling. Scrambling to their feet, Retsu yells "Here it comes again!" and he and Ran bolt, while Jan tries to hold his ground. He braces himself as the golden ball bounces at him and catches it The other stop, then Ran and Retsu cry his name as he falls under its weight. "It's heavy!" he gasps out. The ball mocks him as it grinds onto his stomach, then rolls off. Retsu leaps to one side and Ran to another when it rolls at them. The enemy unrolls as the three Gekiranger gather, Retsu helping Jan to his feet. Ah! He's a Pangolin! Buzankosei? His beast-form is lovely. I like these things. Powerfully armored. He mocks them and Retsu yells at him not to, then leaps to attack with his Gekitonfar. Ran joins with her long one, but it does not matter. They are unable to break through his armor, to their shock. He is powerfully hard. He knocks them back to roll to Jan's feet, who calls their names. "He's so hard!" gasps Retsu. Ran adds, "Our weapons have no effect!" Mele comes in to scold him for just fooling around with the Gekiranger. "Mele!" yelps Jan in surprise. Looking quite annoyed she asks Buzankosei, "Just what is it you're doing?" Oddly, Buzankosei reacts without threat or fear, indeed his tone is almost affectionate. It seems he's um... building up power? Dirt, lalalala. Or... oh dear. Like me, a confused Jan asks for clarification not understanding a thing he'd just heard. Retsu explains that "This one can cause a major earthquake!" "Earthquake? Guraguraka (gura, irrecular movement)?" asks Jan. "Well that's terrible! No one could survive!" Buzankosei makes an agreeing sound. "Why are you going to do that?!" yelps Jan. Mele waxes that this if for Lord Leo's greater glory. Jan hesitantly realises to his shock that Mele is smelling no longer of courage, but zowazowa again. He accuses her, which makes her laugh and call on Buzankosei. And he happily goes giant, smashing his way through the roadway above as he does. The kids take on Gekito-ja form to fight, though Mele smirks confidently. Bae is cheering on the fight, only to discover that Gekito-ja hasn't the power to even dent Buzankosei's armor. Inside, Jan protests, "Owe!" at the feedback to his poor hand. Buzankosei's rolls into a ball and goes at Gekito-ja. Ran, also favoring her wrist, calls a suggestion to the others and they obey, starting the torso and head spinning. Bae figures this'll work. They are able, for a short time, to hold off the enemy, but pretty soon they are knocked flying and worse, out of the beast form so they lie in armor in the middle of a parking lot. Bae mourns, "Oh, my Gekito-ja is beaten!" and lets himself fall over. "The Gekijuuken is beaten again," he whimpers. Mele steps on him in irritation, but smirks slightly at our heroes' predicament. They cannot get back up to fight, and Buzankosei leaves the city, victorious.
Jan lies on his back, kicking and throwing a frustrated protest. He twist-hops to his feet, but all there is to look at is Miki bandaging Retsu's arm while Ran takes care of her own right ankle. Jan tousles his head in frustration. Retsu speaks anxiously to Meki about their enemy as she puts a bandage on his face and Ran asks what they can do. But Master Scha-fu comes in with a box in his hands and says there is someone who can help. Jan is extremely curious abou the box, but Ran asks "Someone? Who?" and Retsu stands up. "What's in that box?" he asks. Jan is practically climbing on Schafu. Their master is not revealing the answer and jan takes a deep whiff, mutters dreamily something about fugufugu, and sneezes on it. Startled, Schafu staggers back, while Jan draps himself on the box. Sheepish, he turns to the others and says, "Well anyway, this is a very important thing. He explains that he needs it delivered to Shibuyama, and a bunch more details. Miki looks slightly amused. "This is an important errand," she says with a smile. Jan perks up. "An errand? This is the first time I've done an errand!" He bounds to Schafu. "My first errand!" he crows, shaking his master by the shoulders. "I'll go!" he happily grabs the big box and starts towards the door. Miki manages to stop him, saying that three people have to go. The trio being a little slow don't realize they're being set up. Schafu laughs and agrees that one person could do it, but three are better. He passes a map to Ran. She understands and studies it, Retsu peering over her shoulder. Then Master Schafu tells them warningly that there is a haunt on the mountain. The three respond, Jan with bewilderment and Retsu and Ran with wide eyes, "A haunt?!" Behind them, Miki has to reign in a smirk. She gets control of herself and tells them, "Yes, it has a terrible power and is a mysterious thing. So you take care." She smiles warmly at them. Ran considers. She imagines a cyclops with tongue sticking out, paper in hands and floating blue flames. Retsu thinks of a tree with a twisted face and immense bark teeth. Jan imagines a worm-like creature with lots of sharp teeth and a lots of eyes. The three of them cock their heads and think about it, until Master Schafu clears his throat. Lessons are over, and now it is the errand lesson. He dings his triangle.
So, here they are on the mountain. Jan has gotten his clothes most of the way back on, his hair still is water-logged. "Right, I got it! Errand! Hurry, hurry!" he yelps, trotting up towards the path while pulling his jacket on. The others sigh, and Ran points out to Retsu they shouldn't delay. He accepts it and shoulders the box again, trailing her up. Continuing through the woods, well away from the river now. There is a slight mist. "The mountain hut is this way," Ran points to their right and ahead. She leads, Jan is at the back amusing himself by poking Retsu in the arm with a stick. "Cut it out," poor Retsu protest. Jan cackles. And something dark green hurtles through the woods near them. Jan senses it, or something, and suddenly moves sharply to get a better signal. The others watch as he sniffs the air. "What is it?" asks Ran. Jan says hesitantly, "Maybe I imagined it..." decides "Let's go!" and leads them on this time. They nod. The green-clad figure is ahead, watching them. Suddenly they all react to a sound or something. A black blur flies towards Jan's head and he barely avoids it. He falls and it hits a tree behind him, a ball at the end of a chain. The tree cracks and falls apart. Jan doesn't waste too much time gaping, nor do the other as they brace themselves. Jan shouts, "Is that the haunt?!"
At Rinjuuden, Leo approaches his place of meditation with Mele behind him until he gets up there. He talks about life and such things. He opens his left palm, left the wrist the Kenma are on, and we see the three Madoku looking like polished, bleached upper halves of crow skulls. Is he addressing the bracelet, or remarking upon it. Ah, he's addressing her, about bringing the Kenma back to life. Mele knows he is feeling pleased and she waxes on his behalf. Now Leo holds up that left hand and addresses the bracelets firmly, telling them to answer him. The voice than responds asks again what he wants. "You," he says firmly. "We are the Sky Kenma." "Sky Kenma," Leo repeats. He wants to know where they lie. The bracelet describes a place of thunder, above the mighty winds. Something about flying whatever is going on makes Mele swallow and lower her hands. Is Leo's life at threat? But if he makes it, the Kenma promise him power. Leo lowers his hand and an expression of furious determination crosses his face. He sweeps his cloak around. Out onto the Rinjuuden grounds, past Rinshy doing katas. Mele walks with him, ahead, delighting that he will bring the Kenma back to life! What he responds makes her delight that he will rule the world, even the sun! More about shining, or life. But Leo responds coldly, having walked past her as she waxed, that this is very small-minded thinking. Alarmed and upset, she dashes around to kneel in front of him, asking and he responds that what he'll get if the Kenma are restored is so much more. Great power.... "The Emperor," says Mele as he passes her by again. The great gates open and Leo walks out.
Jan is on his feet, angry. "Where are you, haunt?" The three are being attacked by a ball on a chain, but it comes at them so swiftly it seems as though there are more than one. They do lot of ducking and rolling, save for Retsu who has to hop and spin because of the box on his back. Ran is hit in the shoulder and goes down. Dismayed, Retsu cries her name. Then the ball knocks his feet out from under him. He lands panfully and Jan rushes over to where both of them lie. Jan calls the haunt to come out. A ball comes flying and he narrowly avoids getting hit in the face. It twines around a tree-trunk, enabling Jan to run along the chain as his friends watch almost hopeful, but the person holding the end wiggles the chain and bucks him off. He lands painfully on his behind, Retsu and Ran rush to his side. And someone invisible asks who they are and what they're doing here. Jan yells back, "We're on an errand! Leave us alone!" The voice responds, "This is my forest." And some more, but the ball and chain rise from the forest floor and this time get Jan's ankles, whip around Ran's torso pinning her arms to her sides and then binding her to a tree, and knocks the box off of Retsu's back.
Miki uses her chopsticks to take a hunk of ramen from her bowl. She frets idly about today's mission. Schafu beside her sips the soup from his spoon. What are the kids doing now? "Is it okay, this errand?" Schafu responds soothingly about the haunt, and Miki agrees softly. Schafu gets a hunk of ramen from his bowl. Just like hers, it was all knotted up. He sighs.
The box tumbles a bit away. Jan is hanging from a tree by his legs. Ran is pinned against possibly the same tree. Retsu lies on the forest floor, chains around his arms and legs. Out of the trees comes their opponent, laughing at their struggles and telling them it's no good. Jan is spitting mad. Cloaked heavily in forest green camoflage so they can only see two yellow eyes in the slit for a face, he puts a foot on the box and asks what it is. Jan, blood rushing to his head, yells not to touch it. "It's the important errand's important thing!" His foot is round and ringed. Cheerfully he says, "Everything that comes into this forest is mine." He decides to take off with the box, lugging it onto his shoulder and walking away with laughter, but the kids in frustration change into their armor, which frees them from the chains. Their attacker turns around and seems unimpressed, but bolts off. They charge after him. Ran sees which way the wind is blowing and runs around the mountain to cut off his escape route. He's rather surprised to find her in front of him. Jan shouts smug delight that she got around in front. "Give that back," Ran tells their tormenter. He takes a step back from her reaching hand. "My, aren't you obstinate," he muses. "If you want this back, you'll have to take it." Well, they feel up to the challenge, and charge him.
Another mountain, probably, one where steam escapes powerfully from under rocks. There is a Rinshy making his way there. A front view shows us it is the Pangolin, Buzankosei. He looks down thoughtfully and says, "I'll see how it tastes here." Out from his mouth goes a thin tongue, piercing down, down until it touches the magma under the ground. Brining it back in, he wriggles joyfully. "Oh, delicious, delicious!" he crows. "Buzankosei!" snaps a voice behind him and he turns to see Mele. "What are you doing, now?" she glares. He salutes her respectfully. "This is Mistress Mele," he says gravely. Not impressed, Mele walks angrily over to him. "The Kenma's resurrection is near, the human world will be finished!" she gestures for emphasis. He knows all this, and explains that in this place, beneath them the plate (continental) is close. And if he hits it just right, well you know, major quake and chaos in the near cities, etc. Mele grins with delight, knowing that this will not merely terrorise humans, but keep the Gekiranger busy. "Princess is the princess, despair is despair!" "Right, then let's go." Startled by her leaving, Buzankosei reaches after her. Sorry old fellow, she sees no one but Leo. He wants to emphasise how delicate this operation is. He wants to get another taste, and in irritation she kicks him in the head.
Even in their armor, their tormenter kicks butt. He uses the box to know Retsu and Ran away from him, ends up in a tug of war with Jan, who gets it briefly. He puts his foot on it, Jan yanks the foot off but the enemy ends up astride it and elbows him in his face. Jan leaps back up, the enemy rolls away and soon gives far more than he gets. He suddenly hands the box to Jan, who is unable to hold it and defend himself. Knocking the box high into the air above them, he then lightning punches the boy. Jan goes down and the enemy catches the box. But Ran goes again him next and he manages to catch her in an embrace. Laughing he remarks on the pleasant feel. "Cut it out!" snarls Ran and forces him away. She goes punching, he blocks her, then he manages to swipe his hand up her behind and she squeaks and starts punching even harder. He kicks her feet out from under her, thinks he's gotten away with the box but Retsu leaps in. He snatches the box from their enemy's hand and rolls away calling, "I made it!" in English. But, to his surprise, there is a chain hanging from the bottom. Yes, he's not got it yet for the enemy takes it back, pulling Retsu along as he will not let go. He binds Retsu's wrist and flips him, tied together but knowing what he's doing, he throws Retsu to the others. All are frustrated, Ran commenting on his speed. The fellow is about to take off with their box, but they can't have that. Ran suggests the Geki Bazooka, and the stranger seems intimidated by its chargeup. But when they fire, he dives out of its path and then bawls them out for using such a dangerous weapon. He materializes a ball and chain in green fire, sets it whirling in a band of green power and blasts them. They are knocked down hard. Now he takes the box again and leaps up a cliff. "Go home," he tells them. But a frustrated Ran yells, "Hold on, you haunt!" He stops, listening. She calls, "This is not a normal errand! This is for people's happiness!" Retsu gets to his feet, supporting her. "We can't return, we can't give up!" Jan gets up, too. "I have to defeat the errand!" he crows. The fellow turns around and asks what they can do about it. Ran points out that they're not one person alone. They are the three together, adds Retsu, and can do anything. Jan makes the triangle speech. Then he gives Ran an assignment and Retsu. Their enemy watches with interest and curiosity. The others agree to whatever Jan's said. Jan sends Ran off, and she flips and spins over the fellow until he's dizzy. Jan grabs him, pins and turns him so that Retsu can kick the the box free and high. "Now, Jan!" Retsu calls when it's safe. Jan clambers up the stranger's back and high into the air, sending him rolling and catches the box. "We did it!" he crows as they gather together. "Great triangle-work!" When he turns to be smug at the person, they find that stranger has gone. "He's not there!" Retsu clarifies, "He must have run off." Ran points out that they have no time. "Let's hurry to the mountain hut!" "Ah!" the boys agree.
Another mountain, lit by purple light. another man on an errand. At the endge of a fall the Kenma addreses Leo. It asks him again what he seeks. "To be strong," he replies. These things must have Alzheimer's. His answer amuses the bracelet. "Of course," it replies, and tells him to hurry. He looks at the Madoku in his hand, then continues along the path down.
On the other mountain, our heroes find the place they've been sent under the late afternoon sun. It is an almost normal seeming mountain hut, with two windows in the loft and curtains on the door. "Here it is," says Ran. "Right!" calls Jan. He has the box now, and leads them charging inside. The hut is dark, windows covered by lovely Indian sheets. Jan sits with the box and announces, "Delivery!" "I appreciate this!" cheers a voice from the apparition bouncing on an exercise ball. It is the very person they've been battling. "Haunt!" the three yelp. "What are you doing here?" snarls Jan. "Wait, wait!" he tells them, hopping to his feet. "I'm the person you're bringing that to." He heaves his camo off and proves to be a tusked lephant-creature. It takes them a bit to get up to speed. But Ran confirms that he is like Master Schafu. Beside him is a table with a bowl of apples, mostly red but there's a green one. And some kind of um... container for liquid. Ran and Retsu salute him in the accustomed manner. Jan is just confused and questions why he attacked them. "Oh, it was a little test. I just wanted to know if you were properly grounded in Gekiken." He has only four fingers on his hands. He selects and apple and suddenly bears down on Ran with it, calling her Ran-chan. He shoves it into her hand while she looks a bit confused and kisses her left cheek with his trunk, leaving a pink print there. Ran lets out a dismayed sound. We see a photo of him with Schafu, both presumably mugging for the camera. There are many different small models of elephants. There is a sight. And he takes them outside the hut.He has, specifically for Ran, the box they brought and while he chats happily, he sets it in front of her. She asks uncertainly if this is a lesson and not giving them power. Jan hurries down for a good look and Retsu asks for clarification. "Master Schafu said it was an errand." "Take a look," he tells them. Jan eagerly opens the box. Within is a blue, black and gray thing with a long chain much like what they'd been attacked with. Jan takes the two parts out, the chain hanging between. "The very important thing is... this?" he asks uncertainly. "Right!" replise the elephant. "Miki-san's specially made Geki Hammer!" And they are to learn to use it. Confused, they gape and he spins, making them duck in fear of the swinging ball. "Here, Ran-chan'll use it!" he says, and happily presses it into her hands. "The lesson begins!" he crows as they all gasp. Then he takes the opportunity to flip up Ran's skirt with his trunk. "Yaah!" she jumps in horror.
Introducing the GekiHammer! Miki swings it very well, and we see scenes of Master Elehan using it to battle the Gekiranger. Then she sits beside Schafu and frets, Miki frets, "Is Ran going to be okay?" "Oh she can do it," Schafu assures her. Miki gets up angrily and says, "No, I mean that pervert Elephant worries me." "What?!"
So, Lesson 11 involves Master Elehan teaching the kids. They camp beside the river and he dances around with Jan. He introduces Ran to the concept of fly-fishing (to teach her how to toss the ball). Jan is half-naked again, and Ran is really, really getting upset at him while he bounces and teases her while she fishes. The Gekiranger in armor will be up against Mele again. And with the Geki Hammer comes a pretty change, much blue and elephant tusks on Gekitoja. Ran will fight Mele, and annoy our green lizard greatly. The new combination will battle the Pangolin.and this will be effective. ウキャウキャ!獣拳武装 Ukyaukya! Juuken Busou! Juuken Armament
