February 14th, 2010 and the first episode of Goseiger airs!
Our guardian angels come to Earth to save us from the evil monsters. It looks promising! And it seems determined to amuse me. I swear, they're targetting my funny bone. I have noticed, however, that some people just don't get my sense of humor.Gosei Blue's name is Hyde. The man playing him is a tall drink of water named Kento Ono (小野腱斗). Gosei Yellow is Moune. The actress playing her is the lovely Mikiho Niwa (にわみきほ). Gosei Red is Alata, played by the startlingly short and adorable Yudai Chiba (千葉雄大). Gosei Pink is Eri, actress is the lovely Rika Satoh (さとう里香). Gosei Black is Agri (which is pronounced like "ugly), played by the fine-looking Kyousuke Hamao (浜尾京介).
Hyde's is the water-power, Seaick Soul (sea sick.. I'll drop the k there too), and his mecha is the Shark. Moune's is the earth-power (they spell it Landick. I just can't...), Landic, and her mecha is the Tiger. Alata's is the sky power, (Skick, but I'm going to spell it..) Skyke and his mecha is the Dragon. Eri is also Skyke and her mecha is the Phoenix. Agri's is Landic power and his mecha is the Snake. In fact, it's a Black Adder (I think. See why I say they are determined to amuse me? Rowan Atkinson, you are precious.).
At the start of the series there are three symbols which come together to form the Goseiger emblem.
Accessories are plentiful. That's not new. But this year, for some money, you too can own these:
Ah, but that's not all! There are also the jackets. First, the front view:
These belong to the Skyke pair. The earrings may be only Alata's. He's wearing the silver in his left ear in the poster. Can't see his right!
I forget who has the bracelet(s), but the rings go with the Landic crew.
Both this and the belt buckle on the left, are Seaic. They belong to Hyde.
And now the back:
The symbol on the left arm band is the same for all, but the Skyke don't have patches.
