The Lone Gunmen first appeared in the Season One episode EBE as a one-time comic relief gag. When the producers heard about their popularity online (back before they decided to shut down all the sites...) they brought them back in season two's Blood. Next they appeared in the crucial episode One Breath in which Scully returns after her abduction. They were around in the elephant episode, Fearful Symetry. As season two drew to a close they were persued by a multinational black ops unit named Garnet because of their friend The Thinkr's hacking into the Department of Defense's UFO files in Anasazi. As season three began they returned in Paper Clip. In Nisei (First of a two parter during November sweeps) Mulder goes to the LGM for help. They next return in the second part of the February sweeps two parter, Apocrypha. As season three neared it's end they appeared in the televison-conspiracy episode Wetired.
