2002	Jackson Roykirk's interstellar probe, "Nomad," is launched from Earth to seek out new forms of life. It will later be reported damaged by a meteor and lost in space, in the vicinity of Zeta Reticuli.
2018	Work begins on the development of an ion internally-metered pulse drive. Ion-impulse, utilizing beryllium fusion coupled with low-level continuum distortion resulting in a fast-moving jet of monatomic oxygen atoms, will in time provide ships with speeds surpassing 0.78c.
2019	The Nexus temporal energy ribbon again passes through our galaxy.
2020	The first manned mission to Saturn, the U.N.S.S. "Lewis And Clark" (IBS-3 "Aventeur" class explorer) under the command of Colonel Shaun Jeoffrey Christopher reports evidence of alien visitation. Mine shafts and tread marks are found on the Saturnian moons. This remarkable find begins to forever change Man's perspective of himself in the universe. Following this mission, Christopher will become Chief of Staff of UNSF Earth's largest permanent outpost in near-Saturn space on Titan, Christopher's Landing, will be named in honor of Shaun Christopher.
2021,	Topaline (Element 117) is discovered on Ganymede, the third moon of Jupiter (Sol V). It will in later years become vital for the life support systems of planetoid colonies and starships.
2023	On Mercury (Sol I), two new elements are discovered: Celebium (Element 103) and Pergium (Element 111), two trans-hahnic radioactives. Pergium, in later years, will be used in many fission reactors and will be in great demand.
2024	The Irish Reunification occurs on Earth: terrorism wins out.
2025	Zefram Cochrane, the creator of warp drive, is born.
2026	Buck Bokai, a shortstop from the London Kings, breaks Joe DiMaggio's hitting record in the game of baseball.
2033	America gains its 52nd state on Earth.
2035	Advanced Fusion Prototype One (AFP-1) experimental ship explodes, with all lives lost. Test pilot Robert Carradine dies as Captain Richard Hanna of the "Companion" class escort support vehicle "Fisher" watches the experimental ship vaporized apparently due to misfiring ignition beams and clogged fuel injector delivery tubes. This is a major setback for Terran interstellar travel capability. The destruction of the prototype is claimed by Colonel Edward Featherstone Green, a former United Nations Armed Forces officer, after gaining control of the Luna military defense base. This act of sabotage begins what is later referred to as Colonel Green's War: a revolt against the Terran government to force its leaders to discontinue space exploration, backing the last of the Eugenics scientists. A UN task force eventually succeeds in recapturing Luna Base but not before Green manages to launch several nuclear missiles, incinerating two major metropolitan centers with millions of casualties. Escaping capture after the fall of Luna Base, Green returns to Terra where he and his supporters conduct numerous terrorist activities. After concerted efforts yielding over a million casualties, Colonel Green and his supporters are hunted down and killed in a missile barrage on their island fortress near Singapore. Though the war lasts less than one year, several widespread incidents of industrial sabotage and urban terrorism show the enormous potential of such groups. This includes his taking advantage of Hanson Smith's surprise development of the particle curtain ten years earlier than thought possible by the scientific community. Earth is nearly pushed back into a Second Dark Ages. A generation later, Green's Pursuit of Perfection will again materialize in the form of the Optimum Movement led by Colonel Adrik Thorsen. In later years, Colonel Green will come to be revered by supporters of the Back-to-Earth movement, and the leaders of the Terra-Return League will make him a representative of their cause.
2036	The newly re-established United Nations declares that no Earth citizen can be made to answer for the crimes of his race or forbears.
2037	The NASA starship S.S. "Charybdis," commanded by Colonel Steven Richey, departs the Sol system. This is the third manned interstellar ship to depart Earth's solar system. The ship's telemetry fails and is never heard from again.
2038,	Rubindium (Element 120) is discovered in the asteroid belt (Sol system). The crystalline element is a natural laser if properly cut.
2040	Television becomes obsolete as a form of entertainment on Earth.
2043	The bloody Mind Control Revolts start on Earth.
2044	The S.S. "Charybdis" is contaminated by an alien life form. Colonel Richey, the last survivor, finds himself within a simulacrum created from the novel 'Hotel Royale,' on the planet Theta VIII.
2047	The Mind Control Revolts end on Earth.
2051	DR. Zefram Cochrane discovers the space warp at the Alpha Centauri Scientific Institute.
2053	Alpha Centaurian biosocialist Zancmar Hodgkins publishes his Law of Parallel Development, stating that similar planets develop similar life forms with similar cultures. After careful study and approval by the Alpha Centauri Academy of Biosciences, it is transmitted to Terra, where it it received 52 months later. World War III kills 600 million people and leaves very few governments on Earth.
2058	The Nexus temporal energy ribbon again passes through our galaxy.
2062	John Burke, the Chief Astronomer at the Royal Academy of Great Britain, Terra, maps the UFC 24187 (Sherman's Planet) region.
2063	Zephram Cochrane makes Humanities first faster than light journey. The flight results in First Contact between Humans and Vulcans.
2065	SS Valiant is lost whilst exploring the outer edge of the galaxy.
2069	The last emperor rules the Klingon Empire. Afterwards the Empire will be ruled by a High Council
2070	Tolian Soran, an El-Aurian, is born.
2071	The S.S. "Valiant" (NCC-S1104) galactic survey cruiser disappears near the edge of the galaxy. The ship's loss will be explained in nearly two centuries when the starship Enterprise recovers the ship's recordermarker. The Energy Barrier at the rim of the galaxy influenced one member of the Valiant's crew, forcing the captain to destroy the ship.
2079	United Earth is temporarily un-unified as the Post-Atomic Horror reaches its peak on Earth.
2082	Colonel Steven Richey dies on Theta VIII in the alien "Hotel Royale" simulacrum, the last of the S.S. "Charybdis".
2089	Zefram Cochrane takes his last interstellar voyage.

2100	This is the era of the European Hegemony: a loose political alliance on Earth and the beginnings of a world government.
2102	The S.S. "Hokule'a" is launched on a deep space exploration mission to the Ficus sector, a DY-500-C ship commanded by Melinda Snodgrass.

2105	The Redjac entity kills eight women in the Martian Colonies. The V.K. "Yuri Gagarin" DY-732 ship, commanded by Winrich Kolbe, is launched on a colonization mission to the Ficus sector.
2113	A World government is formed on Earth.

2119	Peter Lauritson commands the S.S. "Tomobiki" RT-2203 vessel on a deep space exploration mission of the Ficus sector.
2120	The S.S. "Seattle" commanded by Wendy Neuss (NAR 18834) is launched on an A.D.R. looping mission to the Ficus sector. The H.M.S. "Lord Nelson," DY-500-B ship, commanded by Young Jae Kim is launched on a deep space exploration mission to the Ficus sector.
2123	Captain Walter Granger, commanding the S.S. "Mariposa" (NAR 7678, a modified DY-500 vessel with Yoyodyne pulse fusion drive) departs Sol system. The vessel will colonize the Ficus sector's Mariposa and Bringloid V worlds.
2135	The H.M.S. "New Zealand," a DY-732 (N) ship commanded by Bob Lederman, embarks on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan in the Ficus sector.
2137	The Nexus temporal energy ribbon again passes through our galaxy. The S.S. "Buckaroo Banzai," a BBI-993 spaceship commanded by John Whorfin, is launched on a mission to Planet 10 (Dim 8) in the Ficus sector.
2146	The S.S "Urusei Yatsura" DY-430 spaceship, commanded by Dave Glick, embarks on a nebula survey project into the Ficus sector.
2147	Edward Abramson, brilliant physicist and developer of transtater physics is supposedly born - in actuality, he is Flint the Immortal.
2150	Australia joins Earths world government, the last nation state to do so. A total World Government on Earth formed.
2156	The Romulan War begins.
2160	Romulan War ends. The Battle of Cheron is fought in Romulan space between two squadrons of Federation ships and remnants of four Romulan groups. The battle ends inconclusively when neither side has any combat-capable ships remaining. This battle marks the U.F.P.'s last opportunity to organize a fleet strong enough to reach the supposed location of the Romulan homeworld. It is considered a victory nevertheless, because the Romulans lose more than the Federation. Admiral Alex Hamilton, commander of the flagship Hannibal (Marshall class starship), announces the end of the Romulan War. DR. Mordecai Challah urges reconsideration for a Code 1 Priority Research effort to discover the cause and a cure for a new medical affliction resulting from the war effort: rapid-growth cancer of the skin and skeletal structure apparently from Romulan laser bombardment. The Romulan War ends with the Treaty of Alpha Trianguli (Algeron), between Praetor Karzan of the Romulan Star Empire and Cristofur Thorpe, Governor of the Federation Council of the U.F.P. It is the first treaty in U.F.P. history to be negotiated entirely by data upload over subspace radio (Frequency K).
2161	An unspecified federation is founded, possibly even a reformation of the United Federation of Planets. The drafting of the Paris Charter this year is probably directly related, and the signing of the U.F.P. Constitution. Star Fleet Academy on Earth is considered.
2164	The Delos system is first contacted by a U.F.P. scoutship.
2165	S'chn T'gai Sarek is born in ShiKahr, Sas-a-Shar on Vulcan. The Omega Sejanus system is colonized.
2166	Guinan meets the Q.
2167	Starbase 12 is commanded by Admiral Uttan Narsu. The U.S.S. Essex (NCC-173), Daedalus class starship, commanded by Captain Bryce Shumar, is lost with all hands at Mab-Bu VI's moon.
2168	The genetically-perfect integrated Earth colony on Moab IV is founded. The White Rhino becomes extinct on Earth.
2169	A new type of impulse engine is adopted. The basic design of impulse drive remains unchanged for at least two centuries.
2170	The North American Indian ancestors of the Dorvan V settlers, led by Cantowa, leave Earth in order to preserve their cultural identities during this era. Kavis Alpha, a neutron star, explodes.
2176	The Nexus temporal energy ribbon again passes through U.F.P. space.
2183	The D.E.V. Eagle Valley DY-950 ship, commanded by Dan King, is launched as the 3rd colonization mission into the Ficus sector.
2184	The United Star Fleet is officially established as the peace-keeping branch of the U.F.P. Member planets begin disbanding their "national" fleets. Two Star Fleet Headquarters will be formed: one located in the astrographic center of U.F.P. space and the other in the Terran city of San Francisco. The second HQ is undoubtedly agreed upon following the destruction of most of the San Francisco facility in the Great California Quake.
2185	Theta Cygni XII, a dead planet wiped out by the Flying Parasites, is discovered by the U.F.P.
2187	The DY-245 type ship S.S. Hatteras is launched on a deep space exploration mission to the Ficus sector, commanded by Gary Loes.
2196	The last of the Daedalus class starships is decommissioned.
2197	While surveying Sigma Iotia II, the U.S.S. Horizon leaves behind the book 'Chicago Mobs of the Twenties.' This book will set the pattern of the civilization's future. The Prime Directive of Non-interference is not, as of yet, in effect.

2249	Spock chooses to enter Star Fleet instead of the Vulcan Science Academy.

2253	Spock graduates from Star Fleet academy. McCoy graduates from Star Fleet medical school.
2254	Kirk graduates Star Fleet academy.
2264	James Kirk is appointed Captain of the Starship Enterprise. The Starship Enterprise, under the command of Captain Kirk, is assigned a five year mission of exploration. Tuvok is born.
2265	The USS Enterprise penetrates the barrier at the edge of the galaxy.
2266	McCoy joins the Enterprise as Chief Medical Officer. A Romulan vessel crosses the Neutral Zone for the first time and attack several Federation outposts. The Enterprise eventually destroys the Romulan ship. The Starship Enterprise is thrown back several minutes in time - the first known example of time travel.
2267	A DY-100 class spacecraft is found with the preserved bodies of several dozen people on board. It is soon discovered that these are the Genetic Tyrants missing since 1996. The USS Enterprise uncovers a Klingon plot to gain development rights to Shermans planet. Unknown to the crew, they receive covert assistance from the crew of the USS Defiant, thrown back in time from 2373. Romulan, Klingon and Federation governments establish a colony on Nimbus III, "The Planet of Galactic Peace".
2269	The USS Enterprise completes its five year mission. Captain Kirk is Promoted to Admiral. The USS Enterprise commences a major refit. Spock retires from Star Fleet. McCoy retires from Star Fleet.
2271	The newly launched Enterprise encounters the entity known as V'Ger.
2278	The USS Bozeman, NCC 1941, disappears near the Typhon Expanse.
2281	Kirk retires from Star Fleet.
2284	Kirk returns to Star Fleet as an instructor in the Academy.
2285	Khan Sing seizes the USS Reliant and attempts to steal the Genesis Device. His ship is destroyed by the USS Enterprise. Spock is killed saving the Enterprise from destruction. The Enterprise is destroyed whilst rescuing the regenerated body of Spock from the Genesis planet.
2286	The captured Klingon Bird of Prey HMS Bounty travels back in time to 1986 in order to bring two humpbacked whales to the present. The USS Enterprise, NCC 1701-A is commissioned and assigned to the command of Captain Kirk.
2287	The Enterprise-A travels to the center of the galaxy and penetrates the Great Barrier. Transwarp development project deemed unsuccessful.
2293	Tuvok, a recent graduate of the Academy, is appointed as an Ensign on the USS Excelsior under Captain Sulu. The Enterprise-A escorts Chancellor Gorkon to Earth for a peace conference. When Gorkon is assassinated, Kirk uncovers a plot to reverse the recent easing of tensions between the Federation and Klingons. The Enterprise-A is decommissioned. The Enterprise-B is launched; Kirk is apparently killed on her first mission, but is in fact swallowed into the Nexus.
2295	Scotty retires from Star Fleet. He is reported as missing when the USS Jenolen is lost.
2298	Tuvok resigns from Star Fleet

2305	Jean Luc Picard is born.
2323	Picard is accepted into Star Fleet Academy on his second application.

2364	Captain Jean Luc Picard travels by shuttle craft to take command of the USS Enterprise. First Contact with the Q continuum. First contact with the Ferengi. Natasha Yar is killed on the planet Vagra II Jadzia enters the Trill Initiate program. The Borg make their first attack on the Federation, destroying several outposts near the Romulan border. The Romulans re-establish diplomatic ties with the Federation.
2366	A single Borg vessel launches an invasion of the Federation. Whilst attempting to escape the ship, Captain Picard is captured and assimilated.
2367	The Battle of Wolf 359 occurs. Thirty nine Federation Starships and eleven thousand personnel are lost in the battle. In the aftermath, the Enterprise manages to rescue Captain Picard and use his link to the Borg collective to destroy the ship. Gowron is confirmed as leader of the Klingon High Council. The Klingon civil war begins when the Duras family challenges Gowron. Worf resigns his Star Fleet commission in order to join Gowrons side in the war.
2368	After discovering that the Romulans are assisting the Duras family, Star Fleet sends a fleet to the Romulan-Klingon border. The fleet is successful in preventing Romulan border crossings. Gowrons forces defeat the Duras family, although the sisters Lursa and B'Etor escape. Worf returns to Star Fleet service. Date's head is discovered in a cave under San Francisco, apparently left there approximately 500 years before. Analysis of artifacts found near the head suggest that they originate from Devidia II in the Marrab sector. Whilst investigating the planet, Data discovers that alien life forms are traveling back in time to Earth in order to prey on the inhabitants. The android is thrown back in time to the nineteenth century. The Enterprise's senior crew follow him back in time.
2369	Date's head is severed from his body as he returns to the present from 19th century Earth. Geordi LaForge attaches the head found under San Francisco to his body successfully. The Enterprise crew is successful in destroying the aliens on Devdia II. The Cardassians retreat from the Bajoran system, abandoning the Terok Nor ore processing facility in orbit of the planet. The Bajoran Provisional Government asks Star Fleet to take over the running of the station. Commander Benjamin Lafayette Sisko is appointed as commanding officer. Shortly after he takes command, Sisko discovers a stable wormhole in the Bajoran systems Denorios belt. The wormhole has existed for at least 10,000 years in a stable state, apparently due to the influence of aliens who live within it. Sisko is successful in convincing the wormhole aliens to allow traffic to use the wormhole. A Borg vessel is detected in Federation space. The ship is discovered to be operating outside the influence of the Borg collective, under the control of the android Lore. Lore manages to disable Data's ethical subroutine and convince him to join forces with the Borg. He also captures several of the senior officers of the Enterprise also.
2370	DR. Beverly Crusher, in command of the Enterprise during the absence of Captain Picard, is successful in destroying the Borg vessel. Lieutenant Commander LaForge manages to reinitiate Data's ethical subroutine; Data disables and then dismantles Lore. Jean-Luc Picard convinces the Q to allow Humanity to continue to exist by demonstrating that we are capable of understanding "the limitless possibilities of existence". The experience involves Picard visiting alternate timelines created by Q, which draws the Captain closer to his crew and leads to him joining the regular senior officers poker game for the first time. The Dominion destroy the USS Odyssey.
2371	USS Voyager is dragged into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker; the Caretakers Array is destroyed, stranding the ship over 70,000 light years from home. The Amagosa star system is destroyed by DR. Tolian Soran. The Enterprise-D is destroyed whilst attempting to prevent DR. Soran from similarly destroying the Veridian system. Voyager discovers Amelia Earhart alive in the Delta Quadrant. The Enterprise D NCC 1701D id destroyed at Veridian III
2372	The USS Enterprise, NCC 1701-E, is launched. Thomas Eugene Paris becomes the first known Human being to achieve Warp 10 and travel at infinite speed. Quinn, a member of the Q continuum, commits suicide despite warnings that the disruption to the continuums philosophy could result in chaos. The Q civil war begins some time afterwards. Voyager is briefly captured by the Kazon.
2373	Voyager is re-taken by Paris and a small group of Talaxians. Seska is killed during the operation. The Q civil war ends when Voyager crew members, using Q weapons, capture several important members of the continuum. The Borg launch an attack on the Federation, culminating in a fierce battle in Sector 001. The Borg ship is destroyed, but manages to send a vessel back in time to assimilate Earth in 2063. the USS Enterprise follows and restored the timeline to normal. Star Fleet mines the entrance to the Bajoran Wormhole. The Dominion attacks and captures the station, while Star Fleet and Klingon forces destroy Dominion shipyards in Cardassian space. The Dominion war begins. Voyager becomes involved in a war between the Borg and Species 8472, who have invaded Borg space in retaliation for the Borgs attempts to assimilate them.
2374	Voyager, armed with Borg weapons, inflicts a major defeat on Species 8472. They retreat to their own dimension, effectively ending the war. A Borg drone called "Seven of Nine, tertiary adjunct to unimatrix zero one" is captured by Voyager crew members when she attempts to assimilate the ship after the victory. Kes undergoes a transformation into a higher life form. Her last act in our universe is to hurl Voyager some 10,000 light years toward Earth. Star Fleet and Klingon forces win a major victory over the Dominion at the "Valley of Death", and recapture Deep Space Nine. Voyager encounters the Krenim, a species who use temporal technology in weapons applications. The encounter passes peacefully. The Romulans join the war against the Dominion. Voyagers EMH is transferred to the Alpha Quadrant by an alien communications array. Star Fleet learns of the ships predicament for the first time. First Contact with the Hirogen. The first Allied offensive captures the Chin'Toka system from the Dominion. Jadzia Dax is killed by Gul Dukat, who seals the entrance to the Wormhole. The Dax symbiont develops life-threatening complications whilst on its way home to Trill; to save its life it is transplanted into the only available host, Ezri Teegan.
2375	Ben Sisko uses the Orb of the Emissary to reopen the Bajoran Wormhole. Voyager crosses a 2,500 light year wide gulf in space - possibly the gap between two galactic arms. Voyager attempts to use an enhanced Slipstream drive to return home in a matter of seconds. The attempt fails, but does succeed in moving the ship some 10,000 light years further on its journey. Afterward it becomes clear that interference from the future saved the ship from destruction. The Breen become Dominion allies.
