![[Custom figure of Corran Horn as Tie Pilot]](corran_tie.jpg)
Corran Horn, call sign Rogue Nine, is a human pilot with Rogue Squadron in the X-Wing Rogue Squadron novels, "I, Jedi", "Spectre of the Past" and "Vision of the Future". When Rogue Squadron is captured in "Isard's Revenge", he flies as a Tie pilot using the call sign Red Nine. He also appeared in the X-Wing Rogue Squadron comic "Family Ties" in which he was working for CorSec. When he left CorSec, he brought his X-Wing with him. His X-wing is of the newer variety, so he doesn't have to carry his chest mounted life support. Also, his flight suit is green. I also based his helmet on the one he wore while he was with CorSec. In "X-Wing: Krytos Trap", Corran is captured and imprisoned in the Imperial prison Lusankya by Ysanne Isard. While escaping from this prison, Corran accidentally finds a lightsaber which he keeps. It is described as silver-white.
In "X-Wing: Isard's Revenge", Corran and a number of other members of Rogue Squadron go undercover as Tie Defender pilots. Corran uses the call sign Red Nine during this operation. Page 261 mentions Corran has a long moustache and page 267 states that his hair is dyed jet black.
The X-wing version of Corran Horn is made from the head of a G.I. Joe Law figure and the torso and legs of a vintage Bossk and the arms and feet from a vintage Luke X-wing pilot.
The Tie Pilot version of Corran Horn is made from the head of a G.I. Joe Law figure and the torso & arms from a G.I. Joe Wetsuit, and the legs from a G.I. Joe Captain Grid-Iron. The chestplate and helmet are casted from a POTF2 Tie Pilot.
