Gavin Darklighter - Rogue Five, Rogue Three, Rogue Six, Rogue Leader

Gavin Darklighter is a human pilot from Tatooine, with brown hair. He uses call sign Rogue Five during the novels "X-Wing Rogue Squadron", "Wedge's Gamble" and "The Krytos Trap" and is Rogue Three in "Bacta War". He is Rogue Six in "Solo Command" and "Isard's Revenge". In "Onslaught", Gavin is Rogue Leader.

In "Isard's Revenge", mention is made of Gavin having a goatee. In the "Union" comics (picture above), we can see Gavin has both a goatee & moustache.

In "X-Wing: Isard's Revenge", Gavin and a number of other members of Rogue Squadron go undercover as Tie Defender pilots. Gavin uses the call sign Red Three during this operation.

Gavin Darklighter becomes Rogue Leader when Tycho Celchu retires.

This figure is my adaptation of Gavin Darklighter in the earlier Star Wars novels (before his goatee). Parts:

On page 154 of "The Bacta War", Gavin's X-wing is described as "painted gold, with red-orange crescents creating a scale-like pattern. Near the front of the fighter, a mouth had been painted with large, white, dagger-like teeth...in the image of a krayt dragon, the most fearsome predator on all of Tatooine". I have painted his helmet using the same color scheme.
