SUPERMAN LOBBY CARDS CARTELES CINEMATOGRAFICOS DE SUPERMAN

Aquí presentamos el cartel cinematográfico correspondiente a la segunda tal como apareció en México. Cortesía de mi amigo Pedro Barrios Salcedo de México. Como ya hemos explicado en otras partes de esta página sobre Superman, el personaje estuvo prohibido en España de 1964 a 1970 (Los Superhéroes en general) y eso debió influir en que no se proyectara en España la famosísima serie de TV formada por 104 episodios. En realidad se proyectaron dos episodios. Fue un intento frustrado.

In 1954, 20th Century Fox, released five Superman features, linking three TV episodes adding scenes, as for example, Lois, Clark and Jimmy in the Daily Planet office, speaking about something of the previous adventure. These five movies were entitled: 'SUPERMAN'S PERIL', 'SUPERMAN FLIES AGAIN', 'SUPERMAN IN SCOTLAND YARD', 'SUPERMAN AND THE JUNGLE DEVIL' Y 'SUPERMAN EXILE'.

We present here the Lobby Card corresponding with the second one as appeared in Mexico. It is a gift from my Mexican friend Pedro Barrios Salcedo. We have yet explained in other parts of this Superman site, that Superman (The Super-Heroes in general) was prohibited in Spain from 1964 to 1970 so we cannot see the 104 super-famous TV episodes. Well, they proyected two of them. It was a frustrated trying.
