ILONA ELISABETH SZILAGY

Ilona "Lisa" Elisabeth Szilagy( AKA : "Lisa" )

The second wife of Prince/Count Vlad Dracula, cousin of Matthias Corvinus, the King of Hungary, and the mother of Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes, also known as "Alucard." When Prince Dracula abandoned Orthodox Christianity and became a Roman Catholic late in his life, the Hungarian king permitted the Wallachian voivode to marry her. The marriage took place in 1475, just under two years before Dracula would fall on the battlefield. History does account for her death in the early 1500s, though for the CastleVania mythos, it is revealed that Ilona was something of a doctor, aiding her husbands people in times of great epidemics. According to CastleVania lore, Ilona "Lisa" Szilagy was lynched by the very people she dedicated her life to helping, tried as a witch for her relationship with Dracula, then burned at the stake. In 1792, Alucard encountered a Succubus witch that attempted to impersonate Ilona in the hopes of swaying him to his fathers side (CastleVania: Symphony of the Night).

When Grant tried to fight back against his familys murderers, he was turned into a monster and forced to guard the top of the Clock Tower. When Trevor Belmont freed him from the enchantment, Grant agreed to help him destroy Dracula in 1499. Being very lithe and agile, even able to scale walls, he helped Trevor reach this end (CastleVania III: Draculas Curse). A vampire Grant doppleganger confronted Alucard in 1792 (CastleVania: Symphony of the Night).

SYPHA BELNADES
Sypha BelnadesA Mystic Warlord of Warakiya Village that set out to destroy Dracula in 1499. When she encountered the Cyclops, she was turned to stone, and left as a statue at the Cyclops den in the forest. After that, she was assumed dead by the townspeople. However, when Trevor freed her from the stone curse by defeating the Cyclops, she offered to accompany him on his quest. Using her magical abilities, she played an important role in Draculas downfall (CastleVania III: Draculas Curse). In 1792, a vampire faux Sypha confronted Alucard (CastleVania: Symphony of the Night).

SOLEIYU BELMONT
Soleiyu BelmontThe son of Christopher Belmont, and the vampire hunter to carry on the Belmont Clans legacy. In 1591, fifteen years after his father slew Dracula and destroyed CastleVania, on his ceremonial rite of passage from father to son, Soleiyu became possessed by the spirit of demons. He fled to Count Draculas side when four castles mysteriously rose from the earth. In the end, he overcame his dark curse and was freed by his father. Completing his rite of passage ceremony, he vowed to continued fighting the forces of Dracula (CastleVania II: Belmonts Revenge).

MARIA RENARD

Although kidnapped by Dracula in 1788 in an attempt to lure Richter into his hands, she was freed and assisted Richter in his first confration with Dracula (Dracula X: The Circle of Blood). When kidnapped a second time shortly afterward, she did not join Richter in his second Dracula campaign (CastleVania: Dracula X). In the third Dracula conflict the same year she once again fell victim to the Counts kidnapping agenda. Four years later in 1792, then a teenager, Maria offered help to Alucard when Richter mysteriously disappeared in 1792, enamored by and perhaps in love with the mysterious man that had vanquished his own father (CastleVania: Symphony of the Night). Being both agile and possessing a shrill singing voice that was used against her enemies, she was a valuable companion to Richter, and a powerful warrior on her own.

ANNET RENARD/BELMONT
Annet Renard BelmontMarias older sister and the eventual wife of Richter Belmont. She fell victim to Count Draculas kidnapping plot in 1788 along with her sister before Richter came to their aid (Dracula X: The Circle of Blood). When Dracula was able to continue his plans after being resurrected by the dark priest, Shaft, Richter had to rescue Annet and her sister once again (CastleVania: Dracula X). Some time afterward she finally married Richer. Then, when Richter disappeared four years after a third 1788 conflict with Dracula, in 1792, she bade Maria to unravel the mystery, which Maria did, soon meeting Alucard (CastleVania: Symphony of the Night).

IRIS
IrisThe daughter of the town doctor, Iris was captured by Count Dracula in 1788 during his plot of vengeance against the current descendant of the Belmont Clan, Richter Belmont. She aided Richter and Maria Renard, who rescued her from the vampires clutches (Dracula X: The Circle of Blood).

TaraA nun at the town church, Tera was kidnapped along with Iris by Count Dracula in 1788. Where she prayed hidden in a cell under a cemetery, Richter Belmont and Maria Renard rescued her before going on to complete their task (Dracula X: The Circle of Blood).

ADA
AdaCornell considered Ada his sister, though in reality, they were not blood-related. She was adopted by him at a very young age after her family was killed by his man-beast tribe, and Cornell felt more connection with her than anybody else. Captured and used as a sacrificial lamb to resurrect Dracula at one point, she is the driving force behind Cornell's quest into CastleVania in 1844 (CastleVania: Legacy of Darkness).

ORTEGA
OrtegaFrom the same man-beast tribe as Cornell, Ortega has been his lifelong friend. The two had always been competing, and Cornell was always the one that came out on top. When the opportunity presented itself in 1844, however, Ortega joined powers with Count Dracula in hope to finally draw the inner strength of the man-beast out of himself to at last beat Cornell (CastleVania: Legacy of Darkness).

RENON
RenonIn 1844, this is a salesdemon unknown until Cornell reached the Villa. When he went to the Hedge Maze the first time, he was treated to a very polite introduction, explaining that "even in hell there is a need for money." Whenever he finds a contract, you pick it up and Renon appears. He then opens his suitcase and he is free to buy what you need. There was a catch to this gratuitous cache of buying, however: if you use too much money, you will have to fight him in his demon form before Cornell fights Dracula. Don't spend over 30,000... (CastleVania: Legacy of Darkness).

ROSA
RosaThe beautiful girl named Rosa keeps tends the flowers in the flower garden as according to her employment by Count Dracula. She watered her roses every morning at 3. There, Reinhardt foundout she was a vampire. Not because she's been bitten, but Dracula's power had taken over her soul. Because of this, she didn't make an attempt to attack any oncomer. At one point in 1852, the Grim Reaper took over her mind and had her attack Reinhardt. Still, Reinhart Schneider sensed something in her and didn't kill her. She then risked her life for him when he fought Death before the clock tower. After Reinhardt's successful vanquishment of Dracula that year, the two met again. A rose fell from the sky. When the rose touched the ground, it transformed into Rosa, but she was then wholly human, her vampire curse lifted. Her and Reinhart then watched the castle crumble together, then headed away from the site... together (CastleVania [64]).
