The Stimpster
This is a resin kit called "The Stimpter", a takeoff of two concepts. Ren and Stimpy (of course), and a classic old 50's horror flick called "The Manster". I'm fans of boh of these, and of ciourse fell in love with the kit. Some day I might revisit it, and give them/it a herringbone look coat. I added the "hairs" (actually painted wires), and such.
Beach Bunny
This is a re-release of one of the old WeirdOhs kits, the Beach Bunny! I gave her more of a late 90's makeup look, and she's unfinished. The pelican anbd some of her accessories still need to be finished up. While these kits aren't the highest quality, they are BIG fun to complete and work on, Plus they also bring back fond 60's childhood memories (if you were alive in the 60's, that is.. ;) BTW if yer a WeirdOhs fan, be sure to check the website out from the makers of the CGI animated Weird-Ohs TV show! It's wonderfully animated, and on my weekly Must See TV list! Here's that link:
Rat Fink
One of my old favorites were the old RatFink models. I never got any when I was a kid (Sniff!)
So here's my Ratfink, 30 years later!
One of the neatest recent things, if that Polar Lights Has been recreating all my old childhood models, and I've been able to get quite a few at virtually nothing compared to the market value for a vintage collectable!! I couldn't thank them enough!!
One of the neater rereleases, was the old Lost In Space Cyclops Diorama, with the chariot... the kit was faithfully reproduced, even down to the poor decal sheet!! Of course we have WONDERFUL graphic tools now, so I've completely re-done them for the 90's They are made to print at 350 dpi in photoshop, with my epson stylus II printer, and if you use the same settings you should get a sheet exactly right!! Since this file is a little larger then most, it's provided in a compressed ZIP file. Here Ya go!
