Dover is one heck of a monster, as it's nickname implies. It is a symmetrical track so you can run the same groove on both ends, although like Bristol, I seem to carry a bit more speed into turn 3.

Start out near the wall on the front stretch and then tap the brakes and turn the car down into the corner. just like Bristol, get back on the gas and let the gas help you turn the car through the corner. let the car come off the corner and out to the wall and then repeat the line for the other end!

Be careful passing at Dover. the track is so fast that you can make a heck of a mistake in a hurry and end up in the pits, done for the day. patient drivers will be able to pick off lap cars one at a time fairly easily here, but if you get in a hurry, you WILL end up wrecked, so take your time.

NASCAR 3 DOVER RACE SETUP
THIS IS A GOOD RACE SETUP.  IT IS STABLE AND QUICK.  TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN THE TIRES ARE COLD, BECAUSE THE CAR IS VERY LOOSE TILL THE TIRES START GRIPPING.  WILL RUN 153'S CONSISTENTLY IF YOU WATCH YOUR LINE.

NASCAR 3 DOVER QUALIFYING SETUP
GOOD QUALIFYING SETUP THAT SHOULD PUT YOU IN THE MID TO HIGH 182'S.  VERY STABLE FOR A QUALIFYING SETUP.
