I've been having a case of the LCWS and quite frankly indeed of something to do. I stumbled upon a site, which contains one of the attempts to help bereaved FoLCs. By creating a season five, in all fairness I have not give the other sites much of a chance. However I have read all of their "season openers" this one site has held my interest.I was highly impressed with the writing especially with the story episode "Faster than a speeding bullet." I understand this was a fic that was adapted for season five. Upon reading it I actually got very misty eyed at one point. When Lois was holding CJ waiting for time to change. I actually went and hugged my mom after that.
In Vitro Veritas was a real treat as well, the intrigue was a nice change of pace. The writers are pulling off the interaction between Lois and Clark very nicely. I can imagine Teri and Dean playing the parts.
I wanted to remind some people who absolutely, set in stone, take what the show gave us and have pronounced that Lois and Clark can not have kids together. I would be quick to point out that in Family Hour Dear old dad seemed to have found a flaw in Doctor Klein's test. The explanation giving in IVV was extremely well thought out. In fact I thought it made perfect sense to make Superman have a monthly so to speak.
...I'm not going to flame anyone by saying this season five is the best. But I swear its been well worth my time.

Thank you for sharing them, and as you continue to post, I will be here at my computer eagerly waiting and reading.( as soon as I read the name Wanda Mae, the image of Cindy Williams dressed as Mrs. Lincoln came to mind...scary but true ;) LOL

Remember the parallel Metropolis? Well, why don't you guys write an episode that will give a "Lois" or someone to that other Superman? His life was so unhappy... Superman didn't have parents or Lois!!! Can you possibly give him his Lois back somehow, or another character that will bring to his life a little bit of happiness? Please!!!

Overall, this fifth season is excellent. I haven't yet read an episode I haven't enjoyed, and the continuity from episode to episode is spot-on. Favourites so far have to be the opening two-parter and Sheila Harper's 'Faster than a Speeding Bullet' (Sheila Harper also wrote the only decent story so far in the TUFS fifth season). I could really imagine these stories as a TV series, which is far more than I can say for other attempts at Season 5: the TUFS stories have been extremely disappointing, lacking in any genuine 'feel' for the characters or the continuity of the series, and frequently lacking interesting plots! As for the Travis Covert site, I've stopped wasting my time reading any of his childish and boring attempts.Keep it up - please! I don't know how I'm going to cope in December with your weird American system of 'pre-emptions' (whatever they are!) which means no new stories!

Hello All FoLCs :)LoriMcE and everyone else that is helping with the Season 5 from the writing to the stories to the postings here on the Message Boards, Fanfic listserv to the website......You all are doing a great job and I enjoy getting the new episodes each week......And of course, I visit the website so that I can get the stories with the pictures......they add that extra special touch to the story
. Just wanted to drop in and say hello and pat eveyone on the back.....you all are doing a GREAT job of keeping the FoLCs entertained so that the LCWS are minimal........
