History
What I am attempting to do with this section is to give some background
into both Kyle Rayner, but also Green Lanterns in general. Kyle is
fairly new at this, and doesn't get the respect he usually deserves because
of that. It is my intention to show him in a more flattering light.
If you don't know anything about the Green Lantern, you might want to check
out my Beginner's
Guide to the Green Lanterns. Another great resource for those
of you new to the character is the Green Lantern Secret Files and Origins,
still available at a comic shop near you.
I've broken down the series into sets of five issues, to make it more
accessible. Kyle took over as Green Lantern in issue #50, while the
current issue is #104. I've also set up seperate pages for those
pesky one-shots and mini-series that eat up my money on a regular basis.
These are separated into two categories, continuity and non-continuity.
I should take this opportunity to state that within these pages you
will find many spoilers. I can't help it, that's just the way it
is, if I'm going to to a summary of each issue, it's going to give away
all the little secrets. I'm sorry (well not really, but I figured
saying it might make you feel better...). Well enough of that, let's
get to the heart of the matter...
