CENTURION lived in the far past of Cybertron, when the first civilizations on Cybertron started to appear. Centurion was an Argenturian infantry commander. The Argenturians were a civilization that thrived on constant expansion through the conquest of non-civilized parts of Cybertron (which in the eyes of the Argenturians where all non-Argenturian countries). Argenturia therefore had a large, well organized army existing of large infantry divisions, each led by an infantry commander. Centurion was one of those commanders. His continued victories made him famous throughout the Argenturian empire. Again and again he and his battalion went to war and each time they came out victorious, even if they were outnumbered 5 to 1. But even his armor and skill couldn't help him to survive his last battle. With his 100 man battalion, he faced a 5000 man army from the Aurian empire. Refusing to retreat, they fought for days and thousands of enemy soldiers perished. When the other Argenturian battalions arrived, Centurions battalion including Centurion himself were all dead. Impressed by their bravery, the other Argenturian battalions, still vastly outnumbered, attacked the Aurian army and continued to fight until they finally won the battle. This battle gave Centurion and his battalion a name in history and for centuries stories of this battle were told.
