Archangel was one of the original members of the X-Men.

 HIS PAST:
 This millionaire was once
known as the high-flying Angel. He wanted to become human
again, denying his mutant appearance.HIS PRESENT:
He thought he finally found
a cure to his mutation, but it was the evil Apocalypse who slaved him,
transforming Worthington into one of Apocalypse's
Horsemen: Archangel, the Angel of Death.
Manipulated by Apocalyse, he
fought the X-Men in a desperate battle. Just before he
slayed the team, Rogue touched him, absorbing all the
evil he had within him.
Realizing what Apocalypse
had done to him, he rebels against his master, helping
the X-Men stop Apocalpse from accomplishing his evil
plans. But since then, Archangel has been obsessed to
find Apocalypse and have his revenge for transforming him
into what he is now.
But where will this
obsession lead him to?
Archangel once helped the X-Men when Apocalypse kidnapped
psychics for his evil plans. It was then when he met
Psylocke, a mutant ninja psychic, who he probably fell in
love with.
