HER PAST:
She was Xavier's first
pupil. Jean developed her mutant powers at an early age
when she witness the death of her best friend. Professor
Xavier
damped her telepathic powers for her own protection.
HER PRESENT:
Jean Grey is one of most
powerful mutants after Professor Xavier. She can read
minds, project thoughts, and move objects with her mind.
But the most amazing thing is her human spirit and
compassion. Maybe that's why Scott laid eyes on her.
Jean Grey has confronted
many battles, sacrificing herself for the sake of her
fellow mutants and humanity itself. An entity known as
the Phoenix, once took over Jean's body. As Phoenix, Jean
stopped the villain D'Ken from his goal of destroying the
entire galaxy. Jean later became the Dark Phoenix - an
insane Phoenix entity obsessed by the new experience of
human feelings. Jean sacrified her life to end the terror
that she was causing as the Dark Phoenix. Seeing her
compassion, the Phoenix entity gave her the opportunity
to live again.
Jean love life has not been
so easy either. Jean once married Scott Summers (aka
Cyclops) but it was a fake wedding planned by Mr.
Sinister
to obtain their DNA. When Jean finally married Scott for
real, Mr. Sinister kidnapped her and took her to the Axis
of Time. In there, Apocalypse, wanted to use her psychic
powers to control time around the world, creating it
under his own image. But with the help of Professor X and
the rest of psychics kidnapped by Apocalypse, she broke
free and went to her husband's arms.
Until this day, Jean keeps
fights along with the X-Men to save the world no matter
what it takes, even if she has to sacrifice her life a
thousand times more.
