 HIS PAST:
 London, England: 1859.
Nathaniel Essex was a biologist believed that mutants
represented the future of humanity. When he wanted to
cure his wife from a blood disease, Essex began a series
of experiments that he used not only on his wife but on
other mutants and on himself. But when he mutated he
became hated by the people of London and was forced to
fled, leaving his work and wife behind.HIS PRESENT:
Mr. Sinister is one of the
few villains that have brought pain and anguish upon the
X-Men lives.
His first scheme was
responsible for the return of Morph, reviving him and
using him for his dark plans to destroy the X-Men and
their "precious" dream.
Mr. Sinister planned a fake
wedding of Cyclops
and Jean Grey.
He kidnapped them both to obtain their DNA structure and
create a better mutant kind. But he was stopped by
Cyclops and the X-Men.
It
was him who sent Professor
Xavier and Magneto
(and later the X-Men) to the Savage Land, to complete his
plans for creating new mutants.
He
also helped Mystique to try and convince Rogue to return
to her.
But
not even him nor his team of mutants known as the Nasty
Boys, where a match for the X-Men. As for every time, the
X-Men fought back, destroying Mr. Sinister's plans.
Sinister
teamed up with Apocalypse to kidnap Jean Grey and other
psychics at the Axis of Time. Apocalypse's plan
to re-create the world appealed to him.
There
was one time though, when Mr. Sinister joined forces with
the X-Men. During the Phalanx invasion, Mr. Sinister's
lab was destroyed. He warned Xavier about these aliens
but it was too late. He later helped Beast find a way to
defeat the aliens by providing what was left of is
sources. At the end, the Phalanx are defeated, and Mr.
Sinister escapes into the shadows, planning his next
sinister scheme.
