 HER PAST:
 Rogue's powers first
manifested when she kissed her boyfriend Cody, absorbing
his strength and sending him to the hospital. She was
later abandoned by her father after he found out that she
wasn't "normal". Rogue was then recruited by
Mystique as her foster mother. With her, she learned to
become a thief and worked for the evil mutants. During a
confrontation against Mrs. Marvel, Rogue obtained the
power of super-strength and flight when she accidently
absorbed the powers and memories of Mrs. Marvel
permanently.
Rogue joined the X-Men in
attempt to learn how to control her mutant powers, so
that the incident she had with Mrs. Marvel never happens
again.
