"Margaret Houston of Carrickfergus"
Born 1826, apparently in Carrickfergus, Ulster, [Northern] Ireland. Died 23 Jan. 1907. Married 9 Nov. 1845 (date of marriage certificate) in Carrickfergus to John B. Weatherup and immigrated to Westfield, NY.
8 Children:
Catherine/Kate "Kittie" Weatherup (1847-1926). Widowed within one year of her marriage to Benjamin Wallace, Mrs. Kittie was a teacher and was incharge of the primary school in the Westfield Presbyterian Sunday school.
William Gordon Weatherup (1865-1925). married Mary E. Gray, daughter of Robert Gray of Edinburough and granddaughter of Reuben Tinker. Robert Gray & Reuben Tinker both served as missionaries to the Kingdom of Hawai`i and Reuben became minister at the Westfield Presbyterian Church. William was a photographer and was, in some as yet unclear manner, associated with the early Eastman Kodack company. William & Mary's descendents went to Newfoundland & Michigan.
