Veteran actor of over 800 television show and some 38 movies Michael Sheard is nothing if not prolific, and the mere fact of such a long and illustrious career is a testament to both his professionalism and his acting expertise.

Probably best known to television audiences as the tyranical Mr Bronson from the British TV Drama Grange Hill, he is also well known to science fiction fans for his role as the darstardly Admiral Ozzel in The Empire Strikes Back, along with his roles in cult British sci-fi shows such as Blake's Seven, Space 1999, The Tomorrow People and Doctor Who, the latter of which he has appeared in a number of times over the years, starring opposite six of the eight actors to play the good Doctor.

Michael is also famous for his portrayals of Adolf Hitler over the years, the most recent of which was his uncredited appearance opposite Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade. Other film appearances include Force Ten From Navarone, again opposite Ford, this time along with Robert Shaw, Franco Nero and Edward Fox, High Road To China with Tom Selleck, Green Ice opposite Ryan O'Neal, Anne Archer and Omar Sharif, and Escape To Athena, which he starred alongside the likes of David Niven, Telly Savalas, Elliott Gould, Richard Roundtree, William Holden and Michael's good pal, Roger Moore. The latter Michael has been known to call a personal favourite of his. Ever the workaholic in the last few years he has also put his hand on the directorial reigns, working as a director on several occasions.

On top of his epic acting credentials Michael has also written two books, "Yes Mr Bronson - Memoirs Of A Bum Actor", which contains a foreword by fellow actor Roger Moore, and the newly released "Yes Admiral" which details his Star Wars influenced life and his time on the convention circuit. Both books have garnered nothing but positive press and reviews, along with terrific fan response and are essential reading for anyone with an interest in an actor's life, or just some great, and often very amusing yarns. Michael is also currently hard at work on a third book, yet another autobiography, which promises to be another great read.

Given all of this (and more besides that I simply couldn't fit on this page) there is no doubt that Michael Sheard is a powerful addition to the upcoming First Frontier project.
