Posted by The Driver on August 11, 1997 at 17:20:54 PDT Haven't seen anybody else discuss it here, so I'm claiming credit... Late this fall, Marvel is producing a four-part miniseries entitled UNLIMITED ACCESS. It features the return of a character called "Access" who is able to move between the Marvel and DC (that's Defective Comics, for all you Not Brand Ecchers out there). In this series, Access moves between the pasts and futures of both companies - and acc. to the July WIZARD, it will include a visit to *** 2099 ***! Book is being written by Karl (FF 2099) Kesel, as responsible for this year's Mig-El, Spider-Boy 2099 from the Amalgram series. Karl's just doin' his thing keeping 2099 alive... The Driver

(801), posted by The Driver on August 11, 1997 at 17:20:54 PDT Well, then, I guess I better get in touch with Karl and synchronize watches, seeing as I'm writing 2099: MANIFEST DESTINIY for Tom Brevoort, a 38 page 1-shot that kinda has an AWFUL lot to do with ALL things 2099...-- len
Is this THE Len (Ghost Rider 2099) Kaminski himself? Cool! Let me be the first to say it's great to have you here! And let me say a BIG thank you for Ghost Rider 2099 #25, which (like Peter David's Spider-Man 2099 #44) provided a nice end-cap to a great series cut short by the Marvelocution. Any chance you can let us on on what MANIFEST DESTINY will be about, or what would have happened to the Ghost Rider when Joey was taking the 2099-o-verse into 2101? Mark Adams
I don't think this biz could survive ANOTHER Len Kaminski... so yeah, it be moi. Glad you liked GR 99 #25, I got lucky with that one, since big chunks of that issue were what I'd had planned to have happen anyway -- it was letting go of what I had in mind for after 25 that was kinda hard.Since I'm FAR from finished working it all out, I don't wanna say too much about MD, other than it's designed to provide the concluding chapter of the 2099 era that it deserves. And never mind 2101, the epilog happens in ?<...-- len
Well, that's our infamous visit from Manifest Destiny writer Len Kaminski, who was also responsible for the fantastic 2099 book Ghost Rider 2099, which tragically had to end at # 25, due to Editorial changes and screwed up decisions. It was one of the only 2099 books that I had read reviews for in comic magazines that was highly recommended!!! So, be sure to let Len know that you're very pleased with his concept of bringing back the 2099 for us, even if it may be for the last time. You can contact him by clicking here. Be sure to also contact Marvel Comics and tell them that you want to see more of 2099 and Len Kaminski!!! You can contact them by clicking here. Help support the return of Marvel's future!!! Go out and buy and encourage your friends to buy it too!
