'Irish' Murdoch, Army Rangers corps - a former shark
in Vegas and Atlantic
City; joined the Army as a way to evade his 'friends' in the mob after a
blundered caper, and rose through the ranks thanks to his Irish luck and
his ability
to bring his skin (and his men's) back home from the first line. He has contacts
in the local underworld and a long experience in the bush.

LT Oliver
'Spook' Stone, Air Force - a Kansas boy and the
only carreer man on the
team; SIGINT/IMINT expert and OSI link. He is the one on the team with close
to no Indian Country experience, being at the end of his first tour of duty,
and is used at seeing the front from a few thousand feet of altitude. On
the other hand, he is the only one with any tradecraft knowledge, and has
contacts in Washington.

Capt.
Eric 'Brains' Berne Jr, Army Medical Corps - rich
kid formerly on his
way to become a big-bucks
shrink in the San Francisco area, the man spent the last three years in the
heads of boys back from the front, realizing his duty was to put them back
in shape to send them back and get some more trauma; he is a little worse
for use.

Mjr.
John 'Digs' Carpenter, Army Engineers - an engineer
by training, joined
the Army as a volunteer 'to escape from New York', and soon started regretting
it. Still young even if it does not show any longer, he's been through much
of the conflict and wants us to know that he is
not pleased with the current situation. Demolitions and jury-rigging a specialty
by necessity.

LT Angelica
'Fab' Fielder, Air Force - a former postal pilot
in native Montana, she
joined the Air Force in the hopes of improving her curriculum; she ended
up stranded, flightless and weaponless in Bien Vihn, as a flight control
operator. Three years of service taught her to type, to brew coffee and to
avoid pats on her bum from COs; refusal to be set up as private entertainment
for a Colonel led her to one more year manning a screen. Headhunted thanks
to a cv she sent to Tiger Transit.

Kim Binoche - a mixed ancestry woman from one of
the old French families
in Indocine; she sports a spotted political curriculum (left wing tendencies
and involvement with student activists while at the Sorbonne) and has a penchant
for mixing with unusual crowds 'just for kicks'. Both traits, together with
her 'chic degree' (Anthropology) are assets in col. Pace's opinion.
