	The publican at the Fox and Crows let us two rooms,  over his taproom and facing the courtyard, for our weekly reunions. 	The Club Founded "by necessity and not by design" in 1874 with an "open charter" giving a wide scope to the activities of its members. Said activities include antiquarian pursuits, the study of folklore and popular beliefs and the upholding of the enlightened attitude.
