"She's Shambleau, you fool! Shambleau!"
One of the least known and most dangerous creatures in the Netherworld, the Shambleau can rarely seep in the Present Juncture, where it presents a markedly lower IQ - possibly due to the lower Magic Energy level.
Normally appearing as a young exotic looking and turban-wearing young woman, the Shambleau has been known to lure Netherworld travellers out of the way, to feed off their Chi.
Particularly degenerated and self-destructive Sorcerers can sometimes keep a Shambleau as a plaything, developing a growing addiction to the pleasures this creature can induce in partners. This is universally considered a foolish way to go, as no Sorcerer has so far developed a control formula to keep the hungry creature completely at bay. This, coupled with the addiction, normally leads to an untimely demise of the sorcerer.
It is therefore not unusual to find a Shambleau still roaming in a sorcerer's abandoned den, possibly acting as the mistress of the place.
When faced with a Shambleau, the only recommended course of action is, pump it full of hot lead from a distance.
