Hatebreed is currently touring with the warped tour, so check em out. Here is one account of a MA tour date with Hatebreed:
JULY 29, 1998 - Northampton, MA. HATEBREED destroys The Vans Warped Tour!
The very first show of their eleven date leg on the Vans Warped Tour, CT's Hatebreed were the inspiration of what nearly turned into an all-out riot! Neither the Warped Tour officials and organizers, nor the Three County Fairgrounds staff and crew were prepared for what Hatebreed's Boston area fans had set out to do - riot and destroy! It started yesterday in Buffalo when dozens of fans were informed that Hatebreed in fact, didn't start the tour until the 29th, and escalated into the malay that erupted in Northampton today. Early this morning when the daily set schedule was released, it was very clear that the band people came to see this day, was Hatebreed. Accordingly, officials changed the band's 12:30 set time to later in the day, to accommodate for the thousands of supporters that would arrive throughout the afternoon. Once Hatebreed's set got underway, there were 5,000-6,000 fans in full participation, jumping, moshing, screaming, and singing along with the band. Immediately, an unprecedented four circle pits developed throughout the grounds, invading well into the next performing band's stage area. In fact, the crowd even surrounded the main sound booth located in the middle of the grounds, with a huge whirling circle pit of fans running and slamming frantically. Meanwhile up front, the enormous crowd barricades completely gave in, as hundreds of fans toppled to the ground, in an overwhelming mass of falling bodies. When vocalist Jamey Jasta declared that they would be playing their last song, event security fled, as the crowd responded one last time. At this time, organizers are discussing measures that could be implemented to insure that security at tomorrow's show in Philadelphia (and the rest of the tour), take the appropriate precautions and that the crowd barricades are reinforced to withstand the overwhelming response that Hatebreed will be receiving. Guitarist Lou Boulder commented that "this was a show that people will be talking about for years to come..." It's safe to say that he is probably right.
