Betrayal is one of the best Christian Metal bands there is. The band is no longer together, but their music continues to live. The first time I heard Betrayal ("The Passing") was in a Christian Bookstore in 1994, right before I was going off to college. I was hooked. Unfortunately at that time I couldn't get ahold of their first CD. I finally got it through RadRockers the summer of '96. If you like the music, Radrockers still carries them.

"Renaissance By Death"


This was the group's first CD. It came out in 1991. It absolutely rocks. From the excellent harpsichord playing in the song "Renaissance By Death", to the haunting guitar riffs in "Mortal Flesh", the groups musical talents never waiver. The hard hitting, extremely Christian lyrics will also give you a lot to think about (especially "More Faith Than Me", and "Stroll Thru A Wicked Age")!

"The Passing"


This was the group's second and final CD. It came out in 1993. The content as well as the sound are on the same level as their first CD. It was also nice to hear what appears to be the sequal to the song "Escaping The Alter" (from the first CD), "Forest Of Horrors".
