Energy
Reiki is an energy healing technique that according to the traditional myths was rediscovered in the late 1800's.
The word translates from japanese to mean:
Rei=Universal or Spiritually Guided
Ki=Life Energy Force
It is my feeling that everyone is capable of healing, not only themselves but others as well. Through my own discovers in healing I've found many amazing experiences in learning and friends to accompany me on the path for a bit.
I have been attuned a traditional Reiki Master, or teacher, altho my own beliefs and feelings are far from traditional. There are many sites in this world wide gathering place where you can find 'traditional' healing methods. And many where you can read what i have come to call the 'Reiki Myth'. I love the tales as i do all historys of spiritual learning/teaching. This is in no way meant as an insult to other gracious Masters who teach the story of Mikao Usui as fact...to each their own beliefs be truth. The man I am sure was...the story may have been changed as word of mouth and society did thru the years. Anything IS possible!! =*)
This wonderous place in time and space we've come to love as 'cyberdom' seems to me to be a place for kindred spirits to gather and remember each other. It's an amazing thing when I meet someone whom I know that I've known before, and it seems to happen more often lately.......the energy exchanged through words helps us all remember who we are. To each other and in the whole scheme of this here and now we exist in.
