I was born
in São Paulo in 1965. I decided to be a musician when I was seven.
I started my piano lessons with an assistant of Magdalena Tagliaferro.
Later I studied Jazz and Brazilian music. Feeling the necessity of a more
firm and formal background I studied harmony, musical analisys and composition
with professor Osvaldo Lacerda. In 1986 I entered the Santa Marcelina University
in São Paulo where I coursed conducting and composition, later I
transferred to the State University of São Paulo. At this time I
started working as pianist, composer, arranger, professor and other activities
related to music. Currently I keep working as musician playing mainly Brazilian
music and my own compositions in Brazil and Europe.
