4 In Tha Chamber are a
New York Hard Core band formed in late 1996. In the past, they released a demo tape, an EP CD an a split
CD with 'As They Die'. So one may say that 'Existence...' is the first full length CD recorded by the
band. In the New York underground scene, 4 In Tha Chamber have already reached a great reputation
during their support gigs for bands like Earth Crisis, Agnostic Front, Murphy's Law and many others.
4 In Tha Chamber don't play a very fast Hardcore music, but it's extremely brutal and aggressive. Just
listen to the opener 'Drug Induced Murder' which is about the problem of drug dealers. Another highlight
is 'Meeting Of The Minds', maybe the most intense song on this album. The fact that the songs are heavy,
but not too fast may be explained by the vocals which have a strong Rap influence. The lyrics too are
very authentic and give a positive attitude towards life. One of the strangest songs is 'Visions', a
sad sounding slow which goes over to angrier feelings.
